Quality Car Company

Alistair, the owner, is very nice and helpful. But there are some red flags. I am happy to change this review if he can explain himself.Long story short, the condition of the car I came to see did not match the ad and he knew that.Thankfully the check engine light would came on immediately after starting because the car had no catalytic converter. This was apparently a surprise, but was listed in the inspection. I guess he thought I wouldn't notice since you don't have to mention it in Alberta. He did admit to clearing the check engine light so maybe he thought I wouldn't catch on. While I understand that a car can run fine without it, and that some trucks run better without it (his justifications for it being missing), it is a huge red flag. Alistair then called a local dealership and said they didn't pick up and must be closed. I called the same dealership and got through immediately (more red flags).All in all a waste of my time. Don't hide this stuff, and especially don't clear it with your computer before I arrive to look at the car. And you didn't follow-up with me about pricing like you said you would. aaand you didn't respond to my text explaining that I was no longer interested in the car.What's going on?

Highly recommend buying your next vehicle from Quality Car Company!! I am a college student that was looking for something used at a good price and not only did they deliver in that aspect but they also made sure the vehicle was 100% safe and mechanically sound before I took it home which to me is huge!! Both Allister and Dean have been so amazing to deal with and are so personable and did so much for me. You can tell they truly care about their customers and want them to have a great experience. We purchased a suv recently, Darren was great to deal with. The process of dealing with finance and getting the vehicle inspection done was very quick, they had everything done the next day for us. They made sure any repairs needed for the car were booked in and dealt with, there was a delay due to a part but they were great with communication and even gave us a vehicle to use while the shop waited for the part. Definitely recommend checking out their stock if you are searching for a new vehicle

Any questions we had were answered completely and information on the car was transparent - everything Alistair knew about the vehicle was relayed to us and even more. What a great place to find a quality used vehicle! Definitely true to the name. Such a friendly small town atmosphere, well worth the drive. Darren and Alistair were both easy going and upbeat. Quick to let me check out the vehicle without hovering at all. Darren answered all my questions thoroughly and seemed unflustered when I asked tough ones. Clear communication of price and fees etc. If I see another car I’m interested in the future, I’d be more than comfortable returning to find a deal.
