Took my car for an oil change. They got me in within 5 minutes great service. I've all purchased 2 vehicles at Gurtons. I that's what you call Full Service -- from Sales all the way to service. Very cool

I bought a used car from them a month ago. Customer service was amazing! Particularly a guy named Jarred went above and beyond to make the buying process easy. A week later something was a bit wonky with the trunk latch and they replaced the part quickly at no cost. Truly awesome local business.

Today we found ourselves stranded in Saanichton area with a dead battery. BCAA dispatched a local towing company (Peninsula) to get us going. They were awesome too, arriving within minutes, and got the vehicle running again. When asked, he referred us to Gurton's so that we could fix our problem permanently before we continued on our journey back up the Island. We pulled into an obviously busy and bustling service garage with all three bays full of cars and mechanics, and a line up of cars outside. This amazing shop was able to source a new battery and install it for us within an hour!!! The shop charge = $20.00. Peace of mind = Priceless

Gurtons has been incredibly helpful!! I brought my Rx7 into their garage for a variety of services and they have been super friendly and great to work with. Due to the car being very much a “project”, we weren’t able to quite get it going without specialization, but everything that they've done has been great!! They have been able to direct me to the right parts and to others that can do specific services for me that would be out of their range. Pricing was super reasonable and fair for the amount of work and information. I would highly recommend Gurtons and I will absolutely be back!

I have a letter from dealership who repaired my brakes/lines which Gurton's failed to do. They charged $448 plus for a brake line repair/replacement, which according to dealer was not done properly. The brakes felt spongey from the time I picked it up, and I let the garage know this. I took the van back about a week later, and they said it had all kinds of problems, but let me drive it away as it was, with leaking brake lines. They even told me to call Sidney Tire, and the person I spoke with there was confused and surprised that Gurton's had said they didn't have the right equipment to take the tire off. Don't tires routinely come off to fix brakes? Gurton's initially denied that the van had been at their shop at all, and they had never seen it, yet we had the bill saying the brake line had been replaced. The dealer could see this was not done. This is not just disappointing, but what I and others who I've consulted consider to be negligent for a garage that is supposedly a safety" inspection station as well. I don't know if the original Gurton family is still involved in this operation

These guys are great. Honest, professional and just generally very nice people. Would definitely recommend them if you're looking for a mechanic or car sales.

My BMW broke down over the weekend back in late July. I called the next Monday for an appointment. They said to get it towed right away but they couldn't promise that they would look at it as they were busy. The car arrived at their garage late morning Monday. I was suprised to get a call from Russ in the early afternoon. He explained clearly what went wrong and what repairs were needed and the costs involved. I had my car back by the end of the day and it has been running better than ever. Outstanding service! I'm one very happy customer.Thank you Russ and your excellent crew.
