Great place for warm food, drinks and desserts on the go at a great price! You can get breakfast sandwiches for as cheap as $4.69 (egg and cheese sandwich on your choice of bagel/bun etc). They sell coffee, tea, lattes, specialty drinks as well as assorted desserts (donuts, butter tarts, loafs, slices of cakes, cookies, and pies). They also have a deli section where you can buy cheese, meats, sauces, jams. If you want pre-packaged meals, they also sell lasagna, Shepard's pie and assorted pastas. They have some fairly cheap prices for a small shop. There's so much to look at and buy. They only have a small corner with 3-4 bar stools to sit at if you want a place to eat, so it's recommended to get things to-go. Give yourself around 7-10 minutes for them to make your breakfast or lunch fresh!

Just got a sandwich and back to workplace but when I open it and the egg and tomato smell mildew. It definitely cannot eat. And I do not want to go back again because the weather is cold and I feel sick to this weather as well. feel bad and so disappointed.

I've been here a few times, always for their baked goods. Everything is very tasty and fresh, though on the very sweet side. Today, I discovered bolas (round donut with a custard filling) and I think I've found my go-to treat. It's light, fluffy, soft and not overly sweet, which is my kind of treat! Yes, it's coated in sugar, but the donut and cream itself are not as sweet. The texture is what blew my mind. I bit it as is and it was perfect. I popped the rest in the microwave for 15 sec and had it with milk, unbelievable! I have to check out their other items because there are deli meats, cheese and more. Service is always great and friendly!

A fixture of the neighbourhood - for a few decades - with a great location right on the intersection of Parliament and Carlton. Deli, cafe and a small shop: good quality goods (Dufflet Cakes!). a great place to get breakfast sandwich or lunch and coffee. There is also a good selection of coffee beens to purchase for in home brewing. a great place to buy unique sweets.

Go to for delicious breakfast sandwiches.My Order - Popeyes sandwich, kaiser/onion bun, add extra egg, toasted with butter AND ADD La Bomba spread (nice spicy spread). The bomb!

May 2022: I was going to take a picture of the full Chris Club but was barely able to take this pic of half a sandwich. Fully loaded on onion bun it is super fresh & tasty.All followed by the Dufflet dark chocolate sponge treat of course.***Super nice people who work in a tiny closet of a store on Parliament Street just south east of Carlton Street.Beautiful foods, coffee, breads and pastries, cheeses and deli meats.They also make a mean sandwich and can cater.It's an all in one!

Stumbled upon this cute shop as they had a dog bowl in the front and my dog was in need of a refuel. Saw an array of pastries and treats that lured me in. Went in and it's the quaintest little shop selling deli meats, cheeses, olives, freshly baked sweets and all fairly priced. Ordered thier huge crossiant filled with it's generous portion of cheese and meat, a bola (creme filled donut), and a Portuguese tart. I was surprised at the great price and great quality and the staff was sooo lovely. The staff make this place so sweet and friendly! I wish I had a spot like this in my neighborhood, I would be there a couple times a week!
