Play Loft

Unlike any other daycare, Play Loft does not allow parents in to observe their child when picking them up. The rooms are situated so that you cannot see them. You are told to wait in the hallway and that you are not allowed in the room. They bring your child out to you. When I challenged them on this, a Play Loft staff told me they are exempted from regulations because they are privately owned. I need to make an appointment to observe my child interacting/playing with others. Very secretive, no real communication other than “good” when you ask how the day went. When asked how frequently diapers are changed, the reply was, when needed. We had many bad diaper rashes. Once when I picked up my child unannounced, the diaper was so heavy that I doubt it was changed all day. I would love to know what sort of attention these children get during the day. We finally got into another daycare…..so lovely. Parents are welcomed to drop in, lots of activities and a note everyday telling you length of nap, how well they ate and any other information. I wish there was more government over site to enforce daycare rules. I’m sure their before and after school is fine but if your child needs full daycare, do not send your child here.

As a family with two kids who over the years have tried several daycares, I know this to clearly be among the very best. Very kind, competent and caring educators.

Play Loft is great, my son has learnt a lot and he’s only been there 5 months. He always says how much he likes his teacher Miss Vicki and enjoys the company of the other children. I certainly recommend this place to all parents.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. it's the worst daycare ever. I wish i havent chosen it. We had a horrible experience there.I don't recommend it at all. It's just a business. They really don't care about your child.
