Woodbridge Pool & Memorial Arena

Not enough seats for parents on the pool spectators area. People end up sitting on floor. All it take is one! One instructor was very unhappy to be at work this day. He push 4 kids to swim in one tiny area. Set them against each other in a race and then had them do pushups when they lost. When the kids were tired, he told them to go home. When they asked questions he spoke to them with attitude. One kids had to get out of the pool because he was overwhelmed. Then the instructor spoke negatively about this child to the class

It's old and dinghy. The pool area is okay. The issue is that the toddler pool is insanely hot. So hot that it's uncomfortable. We had registered in the parent and tot class and they had over filled the class and when we attended there was barely any space for my daughter and I. The instructor was a bit off as well. They had crammed 2 different classes in that space Friday's at 430pm!!! Why charge people when there is no space to participate!! I pulled out after the 2nd class and forfeited my 90$.Never again will I go back to that pool. Horrible Classes and very unorganized.

I took my son here to take swimmer two for the second time. He did worse his second time around despite improvement. The instructors move the goal posts. The lack of communication to students and parents is troubling. I can’t be told to just work on one skill to complete a distance and the second time make the distances and told my form in three areas. My son’s stamina has increased to meet all distances, has grown as a swimmer, but they moved the goal posts and has missed three areas rather than one! This place has no consistency!

The swim instructors were great and the pool was clean. The only default is no family change room. It was a struggle with two small children.

I use this swimming pool on several occasions. Both my sons have taken swimming lessons at the preschool and swimmer level here, and I'm pleased to say that they really enjoyed it. Seeing them enjoy themselves is all I could hope for.However, there are a couple of areas that could be improved. Firstly, it would be great if there were more chairs available around the pool area. It can sometimes be a challenge to find a comfortable spot to relax or keep an eye on my child.Secondly, one aspect that I found particularly uncomfortable was the viewing area, which felt like a sauna. The high temperature made it less enjoyable to watch the swimming lessons for an extended period of time. It would be beneficial if the viewing area had better ventilation or cooling options.Overall, I'm pleased with the swimming lessons my kids receive but I hope that the pool management considers adding more chairs and addressing the temperature issue in the viewing area. These improvements would enhance the experience for all visitors.Feel free to make any further adjustments or let me know if there's anything else you'd like to include in the review!

Love the staff. Wish the rink was a little bigger and warmer. More of a design issue than anything. Still like it though.

Horrible, horrible. Please don’t send your kids to this place. My daughter‘s skin burnt with too much chemicals in the water. I admitted her to a hospital and a Doc confirmed that the condition was due to the excess amount of Chlorine or wrong chemicals were dumped in the water. I know that few other kids experienced the same.I made a complaint to Health Canada and I make sure this won’t go unnoticed.

I am rating the Saturday Farmers Market. This is the reason we visited. It was nice, accessible and friendly. The problem is it needs to grow. 20 minutes and you have seen everything and it doesn't change week after week. Need to add many more vendors so I can make a morning of it. Going to the Newmarket farmers market next week - much bigger, greater variety.
