Doctor V Dermatology

I had a very compassionate, caring, and competent care experience here yesterday. My daughter recommended I move my referral to this office after she became a patient here. This was my first ever appointment with a dermatologist, and I was anxious about what to expect. My referral was with Dr. V. When I first arrived and was put in a room, I was seen my Dr. Shumona De to do a scan. Dr. De is amazing, I can't say enough good things about her. She made me feel so comfortable, relieved my anxieties, and addressed the skin concerns I came in to discuss. After the scan, Dr V. was given a synopsis and he came in to see me as well. He confirmed all of the things Dr. De had told me. Dr. V is kind, professional and I really trusted that I was in good hands. The way both doctors worked together to provide care as a team is truly what made this experience outstanding. I never once felt rushed. If you can get an appointment here, consider yourself lucky, you will be under amazing care.

Had an appointment with Dr Bellamy in late September who was amazing. She is personable, kind and made me feel really comfortable on my first visit and addressed all of my concerns - I’m looking forward to following up in her care. The office is super clean and I felt really safe with the covid measures in place. Julia, the office manager, was incredibly helpful and considerate in making sure my referral was received and I was contacted for an appointment much sooner than I anticipated. She is a true professional - kind, compassionate and knows her stuff. I feel SO grateful to have been referred to her. She is truly what everyone looks for in a good physician. She listened to my anxieties and concerns - and ADDRESSED THEM! It feels rare to be validated and listened to by a physician these days, so for this experience, I am truly grateful. I've been so impressed with my experience at this office, that I recommended my mom to change her dermatologist referral to this office. She will b e treated by Dr. V but I am certain that she will receive the same level of quality care and professionalism that I did.

Issue is with regards to staff at the desks and appt. scheduling. They don’t consult with the patient regarding what suits the patient. Your appointment is coordinated between family doctor and this office. Most, if not all blame is placed on the patient. Unreal wait times to see the Dr’s - 6 months! Appt’s only available during work hours, which for most people is challenging. Hybrid work is not an option for many and most won’t use vacation days for a 1/2 hr appt. Staff keep a fake cheery voice yet you can sense the smugness in their demeanour. Wrong phone # on file? Your fault. Didn’t get a letter from the office? A letter? Your fault. You can’t leave work? Your fault. Will not even bother booking here.

I met with Dr. Vignjevic and was very impressed. He was able to give me a diagnostic quickly, he fixed my skin issue right away, something that bugged me for years. The staff was friendly, they followed all safety COVID protocol and my appointment was on time. I would recommend.

Definitely do not use this plastic surgery clinic unless you plan to only have complications on the one day a week that your plastic surgeon is in that office. If you have complications on any other day, no surgeon in the practice will see you and you’ll have to go to urgent care.

I encourage you to discount any of the negative reviews and take a sigh of relief if you were referred here; you are in good hands. Dr. Saveriano was amazing! She was professional, prompt, and took her time in making sure that none of the nasty bits I needed excised were left behind. Had she not trusted her well honed instincts I would have still had unfortunate leftovers under my skin.She has deft hands and I felt 0 pain. Dr. Saveriano demonstrated exemplary communication of ongoing consent, which was very much appreciated. In addition, the nurse who initially took my information was very personable and on point in assisting Dr. Saveriano. It is really encouraging to see such seamless collaboration between health care team members.I had such a positive experience at this clinic that I feel more than confident that I can take any of my derm needs here in the future. Dr V. Is awesome and an excellent Dr. I have had several Basal cells removed and he has kept me well informed. His front desk staff however leave little to be desired. They are rude and unhelpful. I had a previous appointment canceled due to covid and they will not reschedule. I travel from approximately 1 hr away. I must now get a new referral from my family Dr. I have been a patient of Dr V for 16 years. This kind of put off is not good. I will be asking my family Dr for a different Dr that is closer to me!!

Dr. V is a fantastic doctor but his front desk staff could use some training in friendly service. They are usually abrupt and unpleasant to deal with. It wouldn't hurt to smile a little and make eye contact.

I love Dr V. He is amazing. He goes above and beyond for his patients and he is also friendly. The only thing I wish he could change is not to turn patient away when they don't have a family Dr referral. I wanted to bring in my 17 years old because her face has reacted to something twice and still don't know what it is she is reacting to. Called my Dr and she just told my daughter she need to use gentle product. And when I asked my doctor to send a referral to a dermatologist she straight out said No. It is my given right to ask for a second opinion and my right to advocate for my daughter. So, please Dr V change your policy about booking appointments only when we have a Dr's referral.
