I enjoyed my meal at The Boil Bar. I had the combo for one person. It was great value for the money. I especially liked the shrimps and mussels. Service was fine.

So the Groupon included 1 lobster or 1 crab for 6 people... same as it would for 2 people?!? We were still hungry when we left and ended up going out for dinner somewhere else. Food tasted great though!

Food seems to be authentic but they have many spelling mistakes on their menus and brochures that they give out to the public. (refer to the picture). Not very professional.

Ordered baked oyster and scallop, signature sauce crab, garlic crawfish, cajun crawfish, lobster chowder, baked shrimp riceEverything was really great (comparing to the captain boil in north york) EXCEPY crawfish. Crawfish is just awful. The meat does not have any flavour and i believe it was frozen(expected but u can image how bad it is).I think the portion and price are reasonable since it is in wa.terloo.

I think the sauces are just mixed after the food is cooked, so the flavours aren't cooked-in" even though the sauces are good. It's a novel concept to eat without a plate or utensils

The food here was served in plastic bags which I thought was pretty cool. We had to wear plastic gloves while eating the food so we wouldn't get our hands dirty. The service was pretty good and the food tasted really authentic. Normally, seafood in Ontario doesn't taste that good but the Boil Bar's seafood is definitely worth the visit!

Just came from The Boil Bar moments ago and left the restaurant fully satisfied. We ordered the good-for-couple menu that includs a pound of Shrimp in spicy lemon pepper and mussels with mild curry sauce. Everyting was just spot in especially the shrimp. Its worth the allergy i am having right now. Lol
