Bridgwater Forest Bridge
I've seen this Bridge built from the ground up, it's a great place to add to the evening stroll and you can see the point where the bridge, water and forest meet. This is where the Bridgwater forest neighborhood gets its name. The water and forest were there before the bridge tho lol.Don't throw rocks in the water I've seen many kids do that and someone can get hurt, including the animals in the water.

It's a nice place to take a walk. There are man made wetlands and a little forrest trail where deer are known to roam.

A Hidden Gem in Winnipeg: Bridgewarer Forest Bridge!Date of Visit: June 2023Having had the pleasure of stumbling upon the Bridgewarer Forest Bridge during my recent trip to Winnipeg, I feel compelled to share the awe-inspiring experience this little bridge granted me. Nestled in the heart of the Bridgewater area, this bridge is a testament to the phrase, “good things come in small packages.”Let’s start with the location – the Bridgewarer Forest Bridge effortlessly blends with its surroundings. The verdant forest creates an embracing cocoon, making the bridge feel like the centerpiece of a natural sanctuary. It’s astonishing how something so close to the city can transport you into what feels like a different realm altogether. The bridge itself, though modest in size, has a charm that is hard to put into words. It arches gracefully over a tranquil lake, with wooden railings that merge with the landscape. The reflection of the bridge on the water below creates an ethereal symmetry, which is nothing short of mesmerizing. But what sets the Bridgewarer Forest Bridge apart is the atmosphere. There’s an intangible ‘good vibe’ that sweeps over you as you step onto it. Perhaps it’s the gentle whisper of the leaves, the occasional ripple on the lake, or the way the bridge seems to welcome each visitor like an old friend; whatever it is, it’s profoundly calming. Now, the pièce de résistance: the sky. During my evening visit, I was treated to a kaleidoscope of colors painting the horizon. As the sun dipped lower, the silhouettes of the trees framed the sky in a way that looked like a painter’s canvas. I felt as though I was witnessing a celestial ballet of colors and reflections. This is a must-see for photography enthusiasts and hopeless romantics alike. In conclusion, the Bridgewarer Forest Bridge is a masterpiece of nature and a haven for peace-seekers. Whether you’re a Winnipeg local or a traveler passing through, this bridge should unquestionably be on your itinerary. It is not just a bridge; it’s a portal to serenity.#Winnipeg #HiddenGem #BridgewarerForestBridge #NatureLover
