2 days agoOur experience with park place funeral home was extremely good. Anything I asked them to do for us (handout notices, picture and music montage) was above what we had expected. The quality of the video created by Gamdur was amazing. Tom was very professional and answered all of our questions and filled out all the appropriate forms required. The prices for the cremation process, urn, keepsake urns and jewelry were very affordable. All in all, I would highly recommend using park place funeral home when you need to do so.

After having a horrific experience at Glenwood Funeral Home, myself and my family were so appreciative to Tom for his kind reasurace and willingness to help. Tom was professional, informative, caring and compassionate. Tom and staff accommodated and respected our every need. We were all very pleased with the service and surprised to find out the price was a fraction of what Glenwood was going to charge.I highly recommend Park Place Funeral Home. The service is top notch and the price is excellent.

If you are a student looking for a funeral home to sponsor you, do not inquire at this funeral home. Gamdur, the owner, is only looking for any free labour he can extort out of students. He made a proposal for payment to which I excitedly agreed too, nothing progressed passed that.I began to give up on that prospect however, I was still content with going to the funeral home and performing any tasks that I could record as hours for school (embalming, transfers, services). Unfortunately, after politely declining to clean on the basis that I was not being paid to do so, I was rudely dismissed from being sponsored. I enjoyed working with the other staff members, but the owners are only in this business for the dollar signs.Update: After posting this last night, the owners called and threatened to sue me if I did not take down my review.

I used them for my mom's funeral last week and found Satvir Brar very compassionate and professional, walked me through the entire process and helped. They respected the family rituals.Very pleased with the price and abundant service it provided.

The Johnston family and staff were very professional, caring and helpful. They conducted every meeting in a very sympathetic and caring manners. All details were delivered as promised, my mother's ceremony and reception was above and beyond. They made everything easier during a difficult time in my life. I highly recommend them.

Madam Satvir and team helped in performing all the procedures and rituals with very caring and professional manner. Very professional, respectful, nice and compassionate people. Every single staff member made sure that everything went according to our cultural rituals. I would like to thank the entire team. Outstanding service from start to finish, felt like it was a friend helping us rather than a business of the sudden passing of my Mother. The empathy and genuine caring nature from Mr.Brar helped us tremendously give my Mom the send off she deserved. Would definitely recommend them .

I have been Park Place Funeral Home, and working for Mr. Gamdur and Satvir. I relay enjoy working with the family and all the staff members. I have learned such a large amount about the funeral industry. Gamdur is really supportive, and extremely understanding person. My best days are when I am at work at Park Place Funeral Home! Be forewarned. My friend was Sikh so after his passing I went to the temple and they referred me to Satvir Brar who is sikh at Park Place Funeral Home. I should have walked out after the first meeting. I was in her office and she answered her cell phone. She was on it so long I had to say excuse me. I went to her because she is sikh and was supoosed to advide me of the traditions. She did not discuss scarfs being worn, last prayers, or that the deceased should be wearing new clothes. On the date of the funeral another friend of the deceased said they got his birthday wrong. That was the first time I was made aware of that. Now Jim at the funeral home said I was made aware of this and I approved it already as the memorial cards were already printed. That is not true. This week i got a voicemail from Jim saying it was only on the memorial cards"."
