Great place for summer evenings. Great view of Ontario lake with perfect sunset views. Free parking but limited space. Lighthouse area is under construction , hopefully they will open it soon. BBQ or campfire is not allowed.

Whitby Harbour Lighthouse
The park is located besides the road and there is enough parking. The parking is free and you don’t have to pay a dime (unlike some evil parks nearby that rip you off with 10$ an hour!) There were lots of people fishing and chilling. We took a walk and it was very relaxing. The lighthouse is small but beautiful. You could also sit besides the water. (Careful!). Some people were also swimming in the lake and lighting up a campfire. The beach is adequate but pebbly. There is also an awesome gazebo you could rent by calling a number.

Whitby Harbour Lighthouse
Beautiful area to enjoy a warm fall day. The colors are amazing this time of year and the area is amazing for walks, hikes and photography. Did not realize you can see the Toronto CN Tower from Whitby and took a few photos with my Nikon 200-500mm zoom. If you haven't visited Whitby area be sure to travel the entire shore line and all the parks this time of year the falls colors are amazing, the beaches are fantastic and clean.

This place is good, unfortunately a little disappointment because the nearby light house the area is closed due to construction so we didnt catch the close view.Hope to visit again once the construction will be done
