Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club

Attended a surprise birthday party last weekend, absolutely spectacular, the guest was totally surprised as the staff had gathered everybody into another room separate from the main banquet hall. The banquet hall (so I was informed) has been totally updated and it certainly showed. The food and service were both amazing and the attention to detail was five star worthy!! Congratulations Silver Lakes on a job very well done!!

Played a round at Silver Lakes in August of 2021 and it left such a positive impression. There are no real elevation changes but on the other hand there are not too many courses around the GTA where you might see a big boat floating by behind the trees while playing a par 3 hole. And there is something overall to the course which gives it a very peaceful, harmonious, close to nature vibe that I haven't found in other GTA courses (but this is pretty much the top end of what I have played). Maybe it is the lushness of the course conditions, maybe it is the trees that the layout is set within. Whatever it is, it's done right. I also enjoyed the pond driving range for something different. Mosquitos are more plentiful here than most other courses but it's not the worst either. Overall I found it to be well worth playing a round here.

A nice course. Very walkable as the course was flat and tee boxes were close to the previous greens. I thought that there were 4 beautiful holes but my favourite was the par four 13th. From the white tees you can try to go over the water at 220 yards or lay up to the right on the fairway. The wind was too strong so we laid up. This course is challenging in that there is lots of water and many trees on either side of the fairway. Bring bug spray as this is a wetland and there was lots of mosquitoes.

We attended a family event on Saturday, April 8th in their dining hall. The whole experience was excellent. All the staff were very friendly and were always willing to help; the dining room was bright, cheery and nicely decorated for this Easter event; the meal was wonderful - the chicken was very moist and tasty and so was the prime rib, and the Caesar salad and the small roasted potatoes were delicious! Sadly, I was too full to try the lasagna dish.My husband and I are golfers so we are considering playing a round at some point in the summer even though we live fairly far away. Thank you so much!

Our first return visit since the days of underpar and this place continues to provide full value for the money. A great track even when a bit spongy from the rain with pleasant staff and starters that make for a superbly enjoyable round of golf.

Silver Lakes is one of my favourite golf course. It just suites my eye. Jon Kiru the golf pro(Director)is an amazing guy an very friendly!! Very friendly staff and the course is alway lush and soft. The food is really good here as well.

Had an absolutely amazing evening this past Wednesday at the new Birch bar and patio at Silverlakes golf and country club. They had Kendra of KendraYoga at 6PM teaching yoga right by the lake and after that there was 7 of us including Wayne Smile a local metal sculpture and philosopher as well as Nicole Taylor owner of Blck Diamond Beauty sitting around a fire pit enjoying drinks and pizza. The staff there are always friendly and helpful, and the pizza was beyond delicious.

Silver Lakes hosted my baby shower this past Sunday and it was beautiful! We had it outside at The Birch and the atmosphere and food was amazing. Would definitely recommend for any kind of event.Thanks Silver Lakes!
