This store is great, the staff are friendly and helpful. Every time I have had an issue with a tool or accessory they have taken care of me. I usually purchase my tools from here now as it makes any warranty returns(not too many i've had any issues with after 3 years of heavy use) super easy. I recommend this store and DeWalt tools.

great place for tools and deals on black friday boxing day fathers day etc..The customer service and employees are all wonderful people. I have never been or gotten upset with any employee anywhere but couldnt help it based on all of these facts.The tool repairs are the worst, Ive spent thousands at this store over 10 years and thier policy is garbage for tool repairsThey give you an estimate of max price.for instance a tablesaw i can sell for $100 is guessed by them for a max cost repair of $275 this is a rediculous system cant they charge $50 to look at it to cover their labour and cost of the quote?? Theres none of that it should be this way to let the customer decide whether they want to repair it or not id rather through away $50 over $275-100 = $175 thrown away.ill never buy from this store again based on this alone. youve lost a 10 year old customer only due to this way of operating.Yes i signed the waver to agree about this way but theres no other choice its a hit or miss will it cost $80?? or max of $350 who the fk knows lets roll the dice!! good luck contractors you might aswell throw your broken tools outThey want wavers signed and will not ever quote because they are too busy.imagine if our machanics worked this way.

I live in the gta and called the Mississauga factory for an 18v rotary hammer drill the rep told me he had 2 in stock he held it for me when I went next day he was gone and no drill amazingly nobody could find the drill and they said it’s discontinuedHe called me next day said he has it just a misunderstanding so I planned to go at end of day no sooner did I get a call from the office saying it was a mistake and I could now purchase a 20v. I demanded to speak to a manager after them avoiding my calls and hanging up on me and my son I decided to call the London Ontario branch. I spoke to Lori and explained what happened and she located the 18v drill for me from the Mississauga branchNothing but good things to say about the London staff

I am taking the time to write this review, which normally I never do. I went yesterday morning to get my drill fixed at this London location, it was in pieces and had an issue. Very soon after I left my drill, got a call it was fixed. Today early went to pick it up. And the Ladies there told me there was no charge. I wanted to pay something for their time, but the Friendly Ladies said there was no charge. OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE ! Very friendly, Not condescending( I'm a woman), and super efficient. Will be back again, they carry alot merchandise for the trades. I DEFINITELY WILL RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYONE! Thank you again.

I dropped off 6 month old a Dewalt DW735 planner to be looked at as it no longer seemed capable of taking any thickness off without shutting off even w/ fresh blades. They said it would cost up to $300 to repair which was a little frustrating since it's only 6 months old but I left it with them anyway. When they called to tell me it was fixed they said the total was about $90. I asked what they had done and they couldn't tell me over the phone but said I'd have to come in so they could pull the work order which would provide further details. The lady on the phone did boast about the warranty on the repair though and that if I wasn't happy with the repair I could bring it back. (convenient) I happened to be in that end of town one today right before they closed and pulled in to pick it up. It was a couple minutes to close and about 5 people were just standing around the desk and you could tell they weren't happy I came in so close to them closing. The fellow at the desk asked if I could come back tomorrow to pick it up since they are supposed to close in like 30 seconds". I said i could not and that it would probably be a month before I'm back in the area which I thought was silly but also not a big deal (Like I said

I would give less than 1 star if possible.I dropped off my dw718 mitre saw for repair. I called back because they hadn't given me an update after 10 days. They didn't have my paperwork and took some time to find my saw. This wasn't the problem, I understand how these things happen.The huge issue that I will describe next made me feel like I was helpless.When they did find my paperwork they told me I should be able to pick up the saw in a few days once they had time to look at it. They then called back 45 minutes later telling me I can pick up the saw at any time and the repairs were complete. They did not tell me how much it was going to cost although they had previously told me it would be a maximum of $350.I knew it would be an inexpensive repair because I had just purchased the armature and ring from the authorized online dewalt parts site. These two parts make up the motor and are the most expensive parts to purchase. I had them installed by a local repair tech and it was working great after except the graphite brushes were arching a bit and the brake had been acting up. These two small issues are why I took my saw to this dewalt repair shop and I told the person who took my order all of this.Anyways, when I showed up to retrieve my saw they had charged me $350 plus tax. This included $150 worth of labour and the parts list showed they replaced the ring and armature assembly. ( the exact same parts that were replaced two weeks prior!!!!) They claimed that the motor was toast and all of the main parts needed replacement. That was a bold face lie. I have the previous receipt from my dewalt parts that I had replaced prior and it cost me $175.They made the choice not to diagnose a problem or listen to me, they just replaced the most expensive parts again without any thought. They then stood behind that choice and tried to justify their work. I wanted my brand new parts back but they said that wouldn't be possible.I have never written a bad review for a company. This is my first time going to a reputable" business and feeling so helpless and taken advantage. My only recourse was to leave my saw or pay for the balance.Being completely stunned I paid for the repair after expressing my distaste. I use this saw every day in my cabinet shop so I just wanted to move on.I will absolutely never take a single tool near this place again and I will be telling everyone I know about my experience for years to come."

I had a faulty switch in my 16 year old Black & Decker lawn mower. I had barely mentioned the word switch and the staff member was able to rhyme off the part number and get me what I needed! Great service! In and out! Clean store, nice layout. Sharp looking for what it sells actually.

The reason the DeWalt on Adelaide S in London On. is a 5 star for me : l am a senior and had no one to assist me regarding my late husbands, chain saw. I drove to the front of the store and read the closed to public sign. I called the number and asked if l could have someone look at the chain saw l couldn’t start. He was very kind, and business like at the same time. I asked if l might drive to the back and keep my distance and put the chainsaw on the ground. Well to make a long story short. I wrote down my info and was ready to leave and this gracious man said “ did you pull the bar” l said no, he said “ just a minute “ plugged it inside and l heard it roar. I was thrilled , he never charged me, that’s what made a whole difference , to me, that a company of great renowned would bother and just wave a goodbye fairwell after such a good deed to me. I will tell about DeWalt a company that just doesn’t deal in what they can charge, but a heart for a customer who needed them.

After a terrible experience with the Mississauga Dewalt service centre, I called on these guys. They were great! I Needed a Dewalt part for my hammer drill, called them, they picked up and made the order for me. I'm now happily expecting a delivery. Will call them for all my future needs.
