What a fantastic little gem of a bookstore. My girlfriend and I visit every year we meet up in Bracebridge and always run out of time here. The owners are personable and welcoming. The Owl Pen feels like coming home!

What a great bookstore. I grabbed 3 biographies in the music room, which I could have easily spent an hour in And the smell of old books is incredible. The Owner was awesome and very friendly. I wish every town had a bookstore like this. Thanks again

Such a wonderful shop! Full of all kinds of books and a selection of vinyl as well. The shop owner let me noodle about on her husband's acoustic guitar for a song. Definitely a discovery of endless possibilities there!

This place was incredible! I spent an hour or so and ended up buying 21 classic books. Their selection is amazing- I’ve been to stores all over Southwestern Ontario and the GTA and have never seen such a vast and exhaustive selection of classics. Katherine was affable and really made the experience fun.

I can spend hours here! As a published author myself, The Owl Pen is my happy place.I adore this book shop, and it's always great to talk to Katherine about books. I've found so many excellent novels here, and I highly recommend shopping here!

I love this place it has such historical value. I love the staff they are always so respectful helpful and funny. The woman working there is always so kind. Could not ask for a better bookstore in Bracebridge.

I could have browsed in the store a lot longer... the kids found some really interesting books and a game and we're very happy with their selections... it's always wonderful to find a unique bookstore in The Villages and cities we visit!
