Rude, unwelcoming and crazy. Insults customers and refuses to fix what they sell. DO NOT SHOP HERE!Made appointment to have preventative maintenence done. Get there and was told the work doesn't need to be done. They never looked at the bike! I don't think they know what they are doing. They need to let the business go. I'm surprised they are still open.

Extremely rude, yelled at me in my face as a 20 year old women, was very unprofessional I have never experienced such bad service in my entire life, he then proceeded to slam the door in my face. This is absolutely terrible and I do not recommend anymore giving this man business

Most aragent, rude person i ever dealt with in ebike business across all Ontario. How can someone treat customers in this fashion and expect to stay in business? I see he has countered all the 1 star honest reviews with odviously fake 5star reviews to bring up his such terrible tract record of abuse to cutomerz. Only wish i could give a zero star rating which he truly deserves

Bike purchassed as a gift it all went well . 6 weeks later peddals started to fall off and the handlebars were so lose they dropped on her lap and the handle that controls the speed got turned and through her off the bike and dragged her and chewd up her legs and dislocated her shoulder. I went in to see him on cassels and of course i was upset so my tone was not as pleasant as most . the owner told me he doesn't care what happen i need to sit down and talk lile a man or he is calling the police. Why? I have no clue i did not threaten him in any way. Do not! Buy product's from him or you might end up hurt also. Will be making a complaint with the better business bureau .

I purchased a bike from Rick at emmo in North Bay upon asking to have my bike serviced he told me he had new bikes in stock so I would have to wait I was okay with that. The real problem being is that three weeks later after repeated attempts to have my bike serviced I was told yet again that you would not service my bike it was to the point where parts were falling off of it and it was rattling on a brand new Emmo zone. My pedal fell off as a result. A few days later I noticed my rear left turn signal had started filling with water. After another attempt to have my bike service today he called me mentally challenged and that my bike would be confiscated because I was mentally incapable of riding it. He told me I was retarted" and " a sick little puppy" followed wuth threats to take me to court and charge me for lost time then closed the door on me. For the second time. This time I was persistant and waited on his balcony for a couple of minutes hoping he would emerge with a level head however he emerged just to further insult me. STRONGLY recommend to take your buisness elsewhere. Thank you - Cody"

Had a bike delivered to Timmins on March 30 2016, but it happened to snow enough that day, that it couldn't be test driven. After conditions allowed for it, around April 12 or so, (within 2-3 days), i had it fully charged and took it out. After 22km exactly, because that is the total amount of kms on the bike, the battery died. The power gauge read F for full, right at the top. I called the man who sold it to me ,Rick, the owner of EMMO E-BIKES at 1131 Cassells st. North Bay. He said things that went something very close to this ; those power meters aren't supposed to move. WHAT? An electric bike that has a power remaining gauge, and that part isn't meant to work? I told him that in the photocopied manual he stapled together that matches the internet one exactly, clearly says that the power gauge will read full, and when the rider sits on it the gauge will drop to the actual level. He said, and this is close to verbatum as you can get, Those instructions are all wrong

Bought a bike from Rick, 3 summers ago, this is now the 4th year, i just took it out and its still runs great. Its ran by battery, so you have to take care of your batteries and keep charging them even if your not using them. (Like every 4-6 weeks through out the winter). Also every spring i bring it in for a check over to make sure everythings tight and running good. If you take care of your bike like any other vehicle and do the proper maintenance it will last. Im very happy with my purchase and cant wait to get another one :)
