Taunton Pools

Taunton Pools used to be good but service is lacking lately. The water testing staff is great. They installed a pump for us and the it did not work. They told me it was an electrical issue, but the electric was good the day before the installation. I called and spoke to Ryan who said he would send the guy out again and if there was a problem, he would call me. No call and pump still not working. I have also sent multiple emails about another issue and no one returned the email. Trying to talk to anyone is impossible on the phone. If you want to talk to one of the managers they screen their calls and never call you back. My husband has gone to the store to talk to someone about issues we were having. That is the only way the issue was resolved.

Taunton Pools continues to deliver excellent customer service. Opened our pool on time as promised and did a wonderful job. Once we filled up the pool enough to start the pump, we noticed a water leak in our salinity sensor (nobody's fault). They showed up same day as our call, replaced a faulty gasket, and we are off and running. They remain our only choice for anything pool or hot tub related.

Marty and James arrived on a Saturday morning with smiles and ready to close the pool. They were very professional and took the time to clean debris from the bottom and blow out the lines quickly.As well, they were kind enough to get the correct cover and thread the retaining wire through it as I had supplied them with the wrong one. It took them less than an hour. Marty was helpful with a couple of suggestions for improving the life of the pump. Thanks to both Marty and James! As well, congratulations to Taunton Pools for having such fine representatives to serve my pool needs.

Cant say enough about Taunton Pools. I was going out of town and needed a new pump installed within a day. Ryan was able to somehow manage to have someone at my house the next day and Matt showed up and did a great job installing the pump. Cant say enough how grateful and happy I am with the service I received. 5 star Plus service :)

Terrible customer service. Any questions or concerns were transferred to the installation team. We were only contacted once they wanted the payment. They processed it without talking to us first.Quoted 3 days and took 3 weeks with very unclear information. Installation team was great but no point of contact at office. They ignored emails and never called back. They just sent an installer back again.When I called them the last time she said it was us who weren't communicating.They just wanted they're money.No customer service at all. That's where you save money I guess.

They did our pool and did a good. Job. Unfortunately they didn’t let us know when there was a delay and I found out by having to call them and ask why the crew wasn’t there. I would expect to be told if a delay and not have had to phone them. The pool wasn’t square to the house and so the deck next to it had to be made in a way to accommodate that. The price was the best and the overall quality of the pool is excellent. They are helpful with pool water testing. They also held our hot tub for me for a while which was helpful while I had the pad made. Don’t often return emails.

DON'T DO IT If you appreciate good customer service and care. I wish I scrolled down further to read the other reviews where people had the same issues as we did; lack of communication and customer care. I'll start off by saying Marty's team that install the pools are amazing; they are who we've been in touch with the most. So friendly, knowledgeable and hard working. As for Tracy and Ryan, they do not care to call you back once you have signed the contract with them. We had questions and concerns, still they didn't return our calls. Tracy ended up being rude, condescending to us and got defensive about their inability to call or email back. They are only quick to call you multiple times in a row, almost harassingly, once you have to pay the balance of the pool. Also what was supposed to take a five day process to install a pool, it took over two weeks and I had to call for someone to come and finish the project (two different teams that install the pool and install the equipment). Judging by the responses to the reviews, they pass the blame on someone else. As first time pool owners, this experience was extremely disappointing and wish we went with a different company.

Closed my pool with them and didn't hand over the parts directly to us or put them in the shed as we'd come to expect with other service providers. when they came to open it, the parts were nowhere to be found. Had to rebuy the items and of course they didn't cover the cost. Been closing my pool for years with another company and this never happened - they always kept the parts in the shed. Funny thing is when they replaced all the parts that I rebought, I go out 1 week later and I see parts left on my deck, no instructions on what to do with them and they were not put in the shed if they were to be kept. I found it quite unprofessional and a repeat of the same behavior. Was not surprised to find another review on here about having to rebuy parts. Also customer service on the phone is quite poor - records are hard to find, lady was rude, and no notes so you have to explain yourself again and again. Save yourself the stress and use a different service provider

We had an in-ground pool installed this year and were very pleased with the process, communication, professionalism and final product. Andrew was a pleasure to deal with and always answered my many questions. Murray and the crew were incredibly hard working, respectful and very efficient. The pool was installed in under 2 weeks. Just be sure to get a good understanding with respect to time lines for your own responsibilities (such as hydro, gas lines and landscaping). I only figured this info out by asking lots of questions. It would have been useful to have them provide a suggested timeline guide.

I hired Taunton Pools in 2021 to design and install a 15’ x 32’ in-ground pool. From the very beginning, the Team there has been super professional, responsive, and accommodating. Specifically, Andrew (Sales) is a super nice, down to Earth sales professional who’s always responded my inquiries with all the answers I needed, from digging to opening. Angela (Service) is just fantastic. She opened our pool for the first time this year and literally educated me on everything, besides being super available and willing to help when I had questions via text. Everyone at the store is nice and professional! All in all, I’m very happy that we hired Taunton Pools for our project !
