Great Divide Nature Interpretation

I booked a tour with Joel and Nadine as part of a birthday surprise trip, and what a fascinating and memorable surprise it was! We went out into the woods and made our way through the stunning, snow-covered scenery while being wonderfully introduced to snowshoeing, which we consequently want to give another try soon! Joel has been a perfect and contagiously enthuastic nature guide for us, who enjoyed to share what seemed like only a tiny fraction of his knowledge about wildlife and flora in the Rockies. Even the self-made snacks were absolutely fantastic, so that he happily sent us the recipe together with some photos after the tour. There is so much more to see and learn that we hope to meet again some time!

Our family did a guided hike with Joel to Lake Annette, and we all loved it. At the start of the hike he asked us a few questions about our interests, and then did a fantastic job personalizing information he shared throughout the hike [and he has a great memory!!] Joel is a wealth of interesting nature knowledge [ and we liked his sense of humor]. It was a very good experience. My 10 year old son enjoyed this experience so much. Joel was very attentive to my son's questions, he was patient and adjust to our pace since we are beginner hikers. We learned so much and enjoyed the stories Joel shared with us. We get to experience eating some wild plants too. He is very knowledgable and I felt safe the whole time. We really enjoyed it. I am so happy I did it.

Joel was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating throughout our full day hike. We were incredibly lucky to have had the opportunity to participate in this adventure and it’s hard to believe this was real life!

I did not go on the great experience of this Nature hike etcBut I did stopp at the lake to explore and do some trail walking myself.I do not speak for this couple in the photo as I don't know them and they seemed to be partaking in the activities the lake had to offer. I was hoping they'd see there photo. As I thought it was a excellent quick snap.But thank you for such positive feedback!

I am so happy that I scheduled this snowshoe tour while in Lake Louise recently. Joel helps you see the natural world with new eyes. It was a great day.

Highly recommended!! We had a lovely time snowshoeing with Joel and the other members of our group. Joel is fantastically knowledgeable about the local area and environment. He took us on some unspoilt snow trails, brought some delicious homemade power bars, hot chocolate and we all had a good roll in the snow! Thanks Joel :)
