Love this place, I've never seen a cleaner facility anywhere

I am a volunteer here, I have volunteered here for a few years now with my amazing dad and grandma. I would really like to become a veterinarian. One of my first words was docternarian because I couldn't say veterinarian, so this place is amazing! I love it here. The animals get amazing care! But like any shelter, I would really hope that these animals get adopted, like there is a cat named Sunkist he has been here for a little over a year now, but he is really sweet. There is a dog named Ceaser who got adopted for 2 months and then came back. He's really sweet. My aunt and uncle adopted a dog here, and he is an absolute sweetheart. But all the animals here are amazing! I just hate to see them without a home and a loving family for the rest of their lives. I would recommend coming here and adopting an amazing animal!

Seeking employment? If you enjoy being talked down to, treated like a degenerate they believe deserves no appreciation for value and dedication... or you just hate yourself as much as they will you... this is the place for you! They'll run you out the doors just like they have everyone else... and they'll make sure to make you feel worthless... even if you go above and beyond!! But don't worry... no one who runs Maclean truly cares about their employees... so long as they have money in their pockets... their world will go 'round!

I seriously do not recommend this place at all, in fact stay away from it as much as possible. I got a dog from here that I grew to love and adore but he had many behavioral issues with certain touches and it was not disclosed at all. They also forgot to mention that he was brought back multiple times before I even adopted him. Oh and the kicker? They make you pay to return animals from their shelter. I just hope that poor dog will go to a family that can help him and give him the love he very much deserves.

They made the adoption so easy and special. Now we know they were trying to be rid of puppy that needed medical attention. Going on what they said (or didn't say) we waited to start treatment. Now on second round of antibiotics and no closer to clearing up the congestion in his lungs. We also have to keep an eye on the umbilical hernia that they totally didn't mention. I have reached out to them hoping they will rectify the situation. Well, it has been about 3 months since this post originated and they have not called back. Talking to groomers and Veterinarians, they haven't much good to say about this shelter"."

After 2 or 3 email exchanges, we decided to make a 4 hour round trip to adopt another dog. We did the meet and greet, filled out app, and did the Meet Your Match survey. We brought our current dog with us. But NEVER, any where thru email or app process did it say to bring vaccine records. We didnt come home with dog and would not recommenend driving any distance to adopt from here. They are very unprofessional because their lack of communication. Too bad I couldnt have given them a zero for their paperwork information.

me and my infant daughter had just moved in to my first house back in December of 2021. i am a single mom, so I knew i needed some company around to make the house less lonely. I went on the website and scheduled a meet with an older cat named Piccola. Best part was the adoption fee was only 22$ which was nice and affordable for me! The staff was so wonderful I took her home the day I met her. Fast forward almost a year, we just celebrated her 13 birthday and she now has a sister! she loves my baby like her own, i don’t know what life would be like without her!

Nice receptionist. Very informative about animals and places to go for help in regards to needs for pets .

Not very impressed with establishment. My wife and I were looking for another companion in our home. After researching using Pet Finder we thought we had located our newest member of the family. My wife was communicating via email with the staff at Mclean. We submitted required information on application and were invited for a meeting on the following saturday. We drove for 2hrs to get to Great Falls. Once inside and we met the dog we thought that was going to be ours, we were informed at the front desk that proof of vacination of our other pet was required prior to Mclean releasing an animal for adoption. There was No mention of this in the emails or the website. I understand protocul but with todays fuel prices and the distance involved for a worthless trip I wouldn't recommend this establishment to anyone. If you are looking for a critter, I'd look somwhere else or go to maybe a breeder and get your moneys worth.My wife and I are both very displeased with our wasted journey and no dog to take home.
