New Amsterdam Cafe
Trash establishment. Grilled cheese is their only menu item and disgusting, runny milkshakes. This place is gross from the inside out. Save yourself the time and just smoke literally anywhere else. Also, the management is laughable at how socially inept they are. I don’t think I’ve encountered stupider people in my entire life.

Very chill place. Only downside is they don't have a lunch special menu and that's why the place is empty at lunch. If they added that, that would be great. Food is good quality, reasonable for dinner especially considering you are allowed to smoke in the main cafe after 5pm but a tag expensive for lunch. I was there on a promo code so I can't complain but I'd pick other locations for lunch without a discount. Hip place, the smoking room/vapor bar in the basement looks like a comfy hotbox, I peeked in while waiting for my food. Makes me want to take up smoking up again! LOL

This is literally the coolest place ever. The music was spot on, the vibes were immaculate, the staff were incredible, food was delicious - the whole concept is legendary. 1000000 stars. Will absolutely be back next time I visit BC. <3

New Amsterdam Cafe
In 1998, I watched a guy at the bar reach right while looking left, pinch a pile of sticky green bud in a folded rolling paper, mash it around and twist it into a cone shaped joint, in one continuous motion, as he drew it to his lips, cracking a flame on his lighter with his left hand and inhaling in perfectly on tempo. I fell in love with this place after that, and my first bowl of coffee.

If you smoke weed and want a great place to hangout for a bit, New Amsterdam Cafe is a great locale in Vancouver to visit! Foods great, staff is always chill and helpful, the atmosphere is relaxed. Been coming here over the past few years and still go when I can here :)

What a gem of a spot! I was walking by and felt like a latte. The ambience is so cool, creative and welcoming. Service was super friendly and my vanilla oat milk latte was the best latte I can remember having! They do offer to add some other things appropriate to being a cannabis cafe; however I just had the latte. A very cool place that I will go back to for sure.

Such an awesome experience. Regardless of myself greening out after my first volcano, the server Lex was absolutely AMAZING. Took great care of us, played my favorite music and was very reassuring and calm, the sweetest human.The vibes in this place are immaculate, I HIGHLY recommend.

This was a long time ago, but extremely rude owner (or whoever was handeling the bar at that time) and intolerant to people with mental disabilities. I was once waiting there for a date and he demanded pay for something right away, then instead of politely telling me to give him more change for my drink, he screamed at me. Never going again.
