Tonight I once again revisited my new favourite restaurant in the Greater Victoria area. Carlos Cantina in Sidney BC, is a small spot with seating for about 20 inside and about half that outside. I've taken a special liking to the daily specials.This evening I enjoyed a wonderful soup and a chicken and mango quesadilla that came with salad and fries. The great food and service ensures that the Cantina is always busy (or has been each of the times I've visited over the last few weeks) and I'd recommend that you call ahead for reservations if there are more than two in your party.

It's a colorful peculiar place which reminds you of different times and simpler things. It would be nice if it was open until later but then again, it's in Sidney so it makes sense to close right around sunset.

A great place for Mexican. The service was terrific (the owner was our waiter). The food was spot on and the proportions were more than adequate. My kids loved the tacos, never seen them eat so fast. Will definitely go back there again.

Hi,I had my first meal here today (take-out). The whole place is very clean, including the bathrooms. I liked the decor, and you can tell the owner takes a lot of pride in the establishment.I had the fish taco's with tortilla soup; the servings were a good size and very tasty.While I was waiting for my food the hostess gave me some water and a seat at a table.I will be returning for more :)Thanks,Dan

Great Food, Great Prices, Great Service! The Host could easily have been a Stand-Up Comic! Highly Recommend!
