I ordered a Sako 85 VSL in 223 for my girlfriend's birthday from the store. Brent from grouseriver helped me with the purchase from very beginning and helped me building the rifle. Brent was very patient and helpful throughout the whole deal, in addition he is very knowledgeable with long range rifles, which really differs him from the other salesmen I have encountered in the past from other stores. He also gave me a good deal with a discount. Got the rifle today and my girlfriend loves it and jeez it's a beautiful rifle. I will soon order another high end rifle with him and now having dealt with him once, I won't hesitate to shop from GrouseRiver again! Bottom line is that If you want quality services plus top of the line products, call Grouseriver and ask for Brent.P.s and if you are looking to get a new credit card, make sure that you stay away from cibc, terrible bank.

I bought a used firearm from Grouse River. The attention and assistance they gave me was just as if I were purchasing a brand new gun. I am thoroughly impressed with their service and attention to detail Since then, I have bought another gun and hunting equipment. They have top shelf equipment at very reasonable prices.

They used to have such amazing staff, but it has dwindled down to a few remaining. Not sure why, but it is a shame! The current staff are unknowledgeable and seem really out of their element selling the high end" gear they carry. Before

Amazing customer service and follow-up! Ordered a few things online and was called by a CSR right away to let me know that an item was back ordered. They responded to my questions very quickly and were just generally nice. No doubt when I want my next gun and more hunting equipment I will be buying from them.

Always get a nice greeting every time I walk into the store the staff always seem very helpful. I've never had a bad experience shopping here and I'm posting this review after reading some of the negative reviews which seem so out of place it's almost comical honestly. i've never gotten anything but a warm welcome a nice smile and fantastic service I just don't understand how someone can leave the store not feeling like they got amazing service. On more than one occasion grouse river has gone above and beyond for me either with a return/exchange or price match Always an awesome experience and for such a large store they really have that small store willing to help you feeling. 5 stars!!

They have great group of people working here! Every time I go in they will help to full extent to find or help what I'm looking for. Prices are fair, and they have a great gun selection for every type of shooter. I can't wait to buy a new hunting rifle from Grouse for next hunting season. Its my first choice for anything outdoor and hunting.

My boyfriend and I had gone into this store, I had been there before and really enjoyed the service and even the products. I went in there with him in august 2016 and got completely ignored, by all staff. I was searching around the women's apparel for hunting gear and noticed a lack there of which never used to be the problem I was extremely disappointed. I had ranted about how good my previous experience was but this was a horrible disappointment. The new staff they have this year compared to last year is extremely lacking in customer service. I watched them stand there and chat and ignore us even though I was looking for some service. The lack of women's hunting gear this year that they stock is also horrible compared to the men's, which being a petite girl I find extremely unfair and sexist. I would much have rather stopped in wholesale sports where someone would acknowledge my boyfriend and I, as well as they have more women's hunting gear compared to this establishment.

Grouse River has treated me well over the years. As of late there online help and phone ordering has been awesome. Raelene E. Was very helpful and even went beyond my expectations to be certain my order was correct by confirming some technicalities Incase my order needed modification. I hope these guys buy out wholesale sports so can have a Canadian company that has good service and prices.-Don Findlay

Grouse River came highly recommended for rifles. I put a deposit down for a fierce gun in May. No one is returning my calls or emails. Horrible to think a company who knew they were closing still took my hard earned money even called me after a few weeks to see if I wanted to put more money down for a scope. Who does this to their customers?? At least give a call back and let a person know what's going on with deposit or getting the gun still..
