Alta Vista Dental Clinic

This clinic is heavily overpriced, and make sure to ask a few dentists to verify the suggestions that are given to you for any procedures for your teeth. The treatment plan I received for a few of my teeth was over 10k, and when I switched clinics and was told it was completely unnecessary.The main doctor at the clinic also isn't the nice at all, I found her pretty rude and sarcastic.

I’ve really enjoyed having my dental care done at the Alta Vista Dental Clinic. The staff are friendly and straight to the point, no extraneous socializing or conversation but are communicative about the care being provided.

Dr. Marina Polonsky is an excellent dentist! I have had at least three other dentists in Ottawa, but Dr. Polonsky is the best. The office admin Valentina is welcoming and knowledgeable. I would certainly recommend this dentist.

Dr. Marina Polonsky is an excellent dentist and the staff at Alta Vista Dental Clinic are very compétant and friendly. I would strongly recomend the Alta Vista Dental Clinic for dental care services. It is unlikely that you will find better care in Ottawa.

At first, I had a good experience with them (there was a Ukrainian doctor that worked there I forget her name she doesn't work there anymore + mimi the hygenist who were both amazing). After COVID and my own personal financial issues, I took a break and so when I came back after a few months I redid x-rays and a check up with the hygienist. I am disappointed to say this Hygienist was not making me feel welcome and was very frustrated when taking my x-rays. She then made the call that I would need sedation for dental work. I found that this came out of nowhere frankly when the dentist I had before was perfectly fine doing my fillings without sedation. Also, I never met with the doctor that day, I had one interaction with the hygienist who basically told me indirectly that they couldn't treat me or deal with me because I'm not able to open my mouth wide enough. This is very frustrating because deep sedation is around $1600.00 + my fillings and root canals are time sensitive the longer I wait the worse they get and so now after a year I've been dragged around and my teeth are worse. I did not appreciate their decision to have me referred.

I have been a patient here for several years. Always a pleasant, quick visit! Hygienists are efficient and gentle, dentist is professional and very personable and administrative staff is very friendly and accommodating. Thank you! :)

The professionals at Alta Vista Dental Clinic are unfailingly outstanding. They are very definitely the best dental team in Ottawa. The entire atmosphere is always welcoming, and I always leave smiling (which feels especially gratifying, after you have just received quality dental care)! J. Wright
