Fountain Tire

I was driving across Canada, had 2 flats on my trailer, they offered to fix it for free if I left it there for the day, I didn't have time so I chose to pay to have them fixed on the spot. They charged me less then one tire repair at all the other shops, had it done faster then anyone else. Alan did a great job, and everyone there was very friendly. I'll be going out of my way to find a fountain tire near me to give them my business from now on. Great company, great staff! Thanks again!

Had an appointment to put a hitch on. I brought in the brand new hitch and wiring kit. Fountain Tire took my vehicle to the back. Looked at the hitch and said they couldn't put it on as it didn't come with instructions or bolts. And before I left they said it would now take 6 hours to complete. With 10mins of research you can find out that the bolts are already on the van. It took my husband & neighbor 2 hours to install. And they wanted to charge 6 hours. I've had another bad time with this shop as well. So I can't say they instill confidence in wanting to go back to them.UPDATE: Even though customer support said that they'd reach out to me -- they didn't. Another fail on their part.

The owner doesn't know what his policies are. My mom purchased winter tires from this store but didn't realize she could have got studded winter tires. I explained to her she has a 30 day satisfaction guarantee which is clearly stated on their website. I decided to talk with the owner myself. The owner had no idea this existed and even asked me how to find the policy and said it was misleading. This policy is not misleading and is actually quite clear with what it is and its exclusions. A policy that as a franchise owner he should be honoring to operate under the Fountain Tire name. If there is one thing I would like the owner to learn from this it would be policies. What they are, and what they mean. A policy is put in place for the benefit of both the business and the consumer. It is also a reason why a customer may decide to do business with one retailer over another.

Charged us $390 for a patch caused due to 4-5 cm nail in the tire. I had agreed to the initial charge of $280(which is ridiculous to start with but I had no other option as I was literally stranded). They didn’t send me an invoice and there was no communication about the costs whatsoever even when I was being pushy and asking the mechanic and the customer service person over the phone. And charged $112 ($392-280) for fixing a patch that usually costs 50$ max. Would not recommend!

Came in with a loose trailer rim that I needed a tire only mounted onto, no balancing or installing it back onto the trailer. Just strictly a loose wheel that I needed a tire mounted on, 10 minute job MAXIMUM if your a decent tire tech.I called at 5:15 and the lady said to come down with it and they could squeeze it in, I was there at 6:15 with the loose wheel and new tire. The lady behind the counter said it was too late, that their tech was already on another job. Fine, whatever. It is what it is, right? Yea... Not so fast.You see I just happened to walk into the store while the lady was on the phone talking to the customer for said job there tech was now on. It was supposed to be a tire repair that turned into a mount and balance of a new tire because the customers tire couldn't be fixed. Not a big deal, 20 minutes and the job would have been done. There would have been time for my 10 minute job, but for whatever reason I was denied service.Now I've been a technician in the Auto service industry for the last 11 years or so, and something like this really really disappoints me and turns me away from going back here. There was enough time for my job after the tech was done with his current job. But the lady behind the counter was either too ill informed or too inexperienced to know that she should have consulted the tech to ask if there was enough time, instead of turning away a customer who has spent at least a couple thousand dollars there in the last year alone and wouldn't go anywhere else.I haven't had a lot of issues with this store. I was over charged a bit on one thing, but it wasn't entirely their fault. As someone with a solid back ground as a technician, I understand that things happen. But I've butt'd heads with this lady a couple times in my time going to this store, and I've been pretty disappointed with her performance and unprofessional attitude. She's very argumentative, and a bit full of herself at times.At the end of the day, I wouldn't recommend dealing with her if you decide to keep doing business with this place. I will keep going back because the other people behind the counter have treated me right, but I will avoid her from now on.

I have had work and inspections done on both of my vehicles by them and am very pleased with the results. They have always been able to fit me in quickly and their rates are very reasonable in relation to the quality of their workmanship. This is a shop you can trust for any safety related work, particularly wheels and brakes. They are very focused on doing the job properly by diagnosing the root of the problem. They have state of the art equipment for wheel balancing, so whether its a high end low profile sportscar or 1 ton dually, the job gets done well. They also have modern email & web based administration for safety inspections that is convenient when liasing with other shops.Thanks for everything so far Fountain Tire Swift!

Excellent customer service, they are so quick and accommodating! Highly recommend them for all your tire needs! We take all our vehicles, including work trucks here. We have been repeat customers for a few years now and won't go anywhere else! Plus they take Airmiles! :)

Will never darken door way again!!!This is the second time I took my car there for a simple oil change. And both times they have left oil on my engine and all over the engine bay. They offer to clean it up. But it's never really cleaned. This go around they told me they didn't do any kinda of inspection on the car all they did was a dump and fill" on a customer supply oil change.. I decided to check my oil after I left and it's almost a full Liter over full. I will never darken this business door way again. And strong DO NOT recommend this business to any one."

I was at the Living Sky Casino when my car didn't start on a Friday night. I thought it was the battery but it wasn't. So I needed to wait next day to find a garage available on a Saturday. Canadian Tire couldn't help me so I asked for help and 2 kind ladies helped me and told me to tow my car at Fountain Tire. When I finally arrived there, they told me they didn't have the piece(it was the starter). The starter was in Calgary, 5 hours from there. I needed to wait 5 days. They lent me a pick up during these days. They did a great job and I was ready to continue my roadtrip to Saskatoon. Thank you so much Fountain Tire!

Service was solid, timely, and accommodating. I was helped in an unfortunate situation and treated well. This business saved my Christmas. Thank you.
