When asking a question about the wait time, the receptionist decided to get mad/upset and proceed to give attitude to a simple question. Just disrespectful.

Wait times are ridicules, appointments are to spread out. Patients are treated like cattle!! Some of the Dr.s are brutal and don't wait for the eye to freeze before sticking a needle into it! They need more Dr.s at this location to accommodate all the patients in the east Fraser valley. They could shut down the New West office seeing as they have 2 offices right next door in Surrey which have sky train access, and parking in New West is a nightmare and in more cases then not u have to pay to park. Out here there are people living in rural route areas with no bus access not even handy dart and cabs are expensive to and from these areas and not everyone can afford it. Its also pissing off the people who have to drive and wait for these patients. They only care about the all mighty dollar, not the patients or their drivers. Hopefully some new retinal surgeons will graduate and give them some competition by the time the next generation needs retinal surgeons!!

I have taken my 73 year old mother to five appointments at this clinic in the the last six months. On average we have had to wait 60-90 minutes from our scheduled appointment time. Staff have no regard for patient’s time and when questioned, state that’s just the way it is and nothing can be done.

Wait times are ridiculous! Husband’s appointment was for 10:20 am. He saw the Dr. at 12:10 pm. Almost 2 hours. Unbelievable. Obviously they are overbooking without any consideration for their patients. Time to find a different eye specialist who respects their patients.

The staff answering phones are the worst. So rude, harsh and just plain awful. As a frontline staff myself I’m ashamed of them. Sitting at a desk must be hard. Not being ale to multitask must be even harder. They never return calls, booking appointments is a nightmare, they say to call back at a certain time/month to book appointments for the future and then they can’t fit you in. We’ve been dealing with this for years, and it just keep getting worse. Our Dr is amazing, so it’s too bad their frontline staff is ruining it for them

Very busy office -minimum wait time is 2 hours. Wish they had a better scheduling system in place. However, the staff is friendly and the doctors seem to be competent.

Wait your turn. This is an overworked team and they still fit everyone in. Caring, professional and competent.

I adore Dr. Levasseur! He is an incredible surgeon and a lovely in-clinic doctor. It's a busy place, but the staff are all efficient. Recommended visit time is 1.5-2 hrs, because you have to wait for the dilating drops to work. Plenty of seating area. Office is on the warm side, so dress in comfortable layers [I went in the autumn time]. Wheelchair accessible. No free wifi in the office area. Well lit, so if you have sensitivity to light, bring your sunglasses. I wish I didn't have to go to a Retina Specialist, but I'm very thankful for the kind care I received at the Abbotsford location!
