First off, Angie returned my call very promptly. I had called a couple of bond companies; one where the phone rang for several minutes and then disconnected my call without offering voicemail or an answering service, and another where I was able to leave a voicemail, but has not returned my call. Angie was recommended to me by several friends, and I can see why. In addition to returning my call in less than 20 minutes, she was very helpful when it came to explaining all the ins and outs of cosigning for someone, and was willing to work with me when it came to the financial aspect of the bond. She made everything happen fast, which made me feel as tho she cared about getting my friend out of jail as much as I did. Angie was very friendly and easy to talk to. I was in town from Texas and got a dui. Arrested and thrown into the slammer after a casino day with my wife. My wife is filipina and only been here in the U.S. for 4 years, so she is still trying to culturally acclimate herself with our ways of doing things. This whole unfortunate incident was way too much for her to handle. She didnt know what to do. I had 1 chance to call her and gave her the name of a bail bond company (All City Bail Bonds Bellingham WA) that I happen to get the number from fellow inmates. I was told to ask for Angela (Angie). What a God send this woman is. She not only set up a bond (which I ended up not needing because I PR instead of needing a bond, police gave misinformation), but she actually drove my wife (she is not 100% up to speed in driving yet) to her office and then back to the jail, explained everything that needed to happen and what to expect afterwards. It was at this time Angie found out that the police gave her wrong information. They had told her over the phone that I had a $1000 bond which my wife paid her for plus a non refundable $196 process fee. Well, I was released on my own recognizance and did not need to post a bond. My wife waited hours for me to be processed out, which I finally did late evening. I went to Angies office in Bellingham the next morning and wanted to personally thank her for being so nice and understanding with my wife. She then began to tell me that she refunded my $1000 and to my surprise the $196 processing fee as well. Yes I didnt need a bond, but she went above and beyond, plus all the paperwork she had to fill out, all for nothing. I thanked her profusely and asked if I could compensate her for her troubles. She declined. I couldnt even get her to let me buy her lunch. If ever you need a bail bond, this is the company to go with. Angie is not only very knowledgeable about every facet in the bail bonding industry, she is a very caring and honest person. I cant say enough about this woman! They are friendly, responsive and easily accessible. Communication is a must when going through the bail process and Angela was accessible by phone, Messenger and e- mail. When I had a question about my court date she immediately was there to clarify it for me. When you're unsure of your court date it's nice to be able to have someone to confirm it for you in a pinch.
