From the drinks to the appetizers to the tacos and the dessert this was by far the best Mexican restaurant I’ve been to and Mexican is my fav! It is a little pricy so pace yourself but honestly worth it!

My friend brought me to this location ( I’ve been to the one in downtown which I very liked)Interior decor was outstanding, young and trendy style. The food way too good, everything that I have tried was so tasty. The waitress was so nice, making sure if everything was ok.A place that makes me have cravings. Their tacos yummm and their must-try general tao whaaattt. going back anytime soonthank you for letting us know quality food exists :)

Foods is no doubt different but delicious. Service for a group is not properly organized. They need to start on foods which takes a little longer so the group can all eat together. And management should learn not to try to kick out customers (especially groups) when they have other groups who reserved the same table at a later time. Management should learn to serve the 1st group well, so the customers get served quickly. So that way the customers will leave on time and their other reservation will have their tables on time. Management 101!

Cute place, friendly staff, good tasty food. Although the waiter really tries to convince you of it, to me Escondite is not a « tapas » place, it just serves small portions. The korean tacos where delicious, but like anything spicy it should be served with a wedge of lime for those that wish to cut the spiciness.

Love it here! The tacos are so flavorful and has the right amount of kick to it. Ambience, service, and drinks are good as well. Because of the size of the tacos, you might have to order twice but it's worth it!

Escondite continues to deliver high quality, great atmosphere and incredible service. A+++ all around in this place. Highly recommend all of the locations as they are consistently delivering above expectations. Well done.El Pastor tacos are probably the best in Montreal, and the mango salad is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. If you have gluten issues ask for the mango salad with the chips.

We were five of us. We shared many appetizers among the group. I tried many new dishes including ones with truffles. We also had ceviche, and cheese tortillas for those who eat less spicy. I will return with friends later this week. I am sure that it will be great.

My husband reserved a table for my birthday supper this past weekend and we had an excellent time.Food: everything tasted great, our favourites were the Baja tacos and the Gyoza nachos. Portions are small, so it can get pricey very quickly, however in my opinion given the freshness and quality of the food I am happy to pay.Service: I rarely say this now - fantastic service from start to finish. Waitress was friendly, very fast, and really wanted us to be happy. All other staff we interacted with were also fantastic. It is refreshing to go out to a place where service is a priority.Atmosphere: A smaller space but very well laid out and not too crowded. Decor was fun and music was great. As it was my birthday, the staff brought out a desert and everyone clapped their hands to Danze Kudro which was fun.Overall: I will definitely go back and would recommend to anyone wanting to have a good evening with great tasting food.

Delicious! The tacos are all incredible, but do yourself a favor and try the barbacoa (lamb), the Baja (fried fish), or the cochinita pibil (pork) offerings. Bomb cocktails, too. This is a hip spot with great energy and good music, and someplace I'd absolutely return to! The wait staff is friendly, young, and lots of fun.
