A friend of mine has been treated here. She has complained to me many times about the poor treatment she gets. I have watched her be in crippling pain for two years and this clinic has been nothing but rude to her - including saying things like and what did you expect me to do about this?" After she explained her pains to them. The final straw for me was the fact that for months now she believed she was waiting to hear back on getting another specialist appt. Only to find out this morning that the Cleveland clinic forgot to send her referral. Which means she has several more months of waiting to see a different specialist

I wouldn't take my dog there. Most physios and doctors there are undertrained and incompetent . Drew down my entire healthcare benefits for nothing. Doctors could not diagnose a relatively simple problem - which 2nd doc did after 5 minute examination and 10 questions. Walked away wondering how they can claim to be a healthcare service. Avoid at all costs, there are many great sport med clinics in the city - check them out.

Went to Cleveland Clinic Midtown seeking help with a knee issue. I requested an MRI as I have one set of knees that I intend to live a long and happy life on and wanted to be sure of the issue before seeking treatment. They refused to schedule an MRI, and generally did not seem interested in my perspective. Not a great experience, will be finding help elsewhere.

My lower back pain each time after skiing has been bothering me for 3 years. I was recommended by a friend to see Dr Julia Hamilton and she's been great! She listens to you and also gets right to the point. I actually missed my second appointment and she's kind enough to squeeze me in and still see me. The receptionists are also very nice and professional. I am very surprised by the bad reviews for I personally have a very positive experience with this clinic.Updates after 2 months:My physiotherapist Francis is amazing! She taught me workouts that work like magic. For 10 years, I can't bent forward to touch my feet because of lower back problems and Francis fixed it! I also don't have severe pain after skiing now. I can enjoy my ski trip and go skiing 4 days in a row without any problems! I am so happy and thankful!

I’ve had a couple appointments with Dr. Smith now and he’s a great physician. Knowledgeable, patient, and an overall pleasure to deal with. The rest of the team there seems to run a tight ship also - and the almost immediate x-ray results from the lab downstairs are a nice perk also!

My initial assessment appointment lasted barely 5 minutes. Dr Ira Smith barely took the time to inquire about the problem; felt rushed start to finish and he couldn't wait to have me out the door, but not before recommending I buy some orthopedic equipment from their store and sign up for their very expensive physical therapy not covered by ON universal" healthcare."

If I could give 0 I would. The front staff are wonderful and kind but DO NOT GO HERE. Especially if you're in pain. I met with Dr. Michael Clarfield and he is the worst. No compassion, no kindness, exceptionally abrupt, terse and rude. I spent maybe a total of 8 minutes with him after waiting 45 minutes to be seen. Didn't give me anything for my plantar fasciitis pain. Never going back him again.

Ive been coming here off and on for years with various ailments. I must say that Jessica, the manager, is very accommodating, friendly and efficient : all conducive to influencing the client to return.I might add that Chris Downey, Saba and Jenna are excellent physiotherapists as are the rest of them .The office staff, especially Susy, isfriendly, diligent and very compassionate..The assistant PT, especially Serenais very helpful and friendly.Finally, Dr. Kraft is the epitome of professionalism .She really listens and displays a deep understanding of the client's needs. A very sensitive and compassionate doctor who never rushes you.On the whole, my experiences here have been positive.. But there's always room for improvement .

I'll preface by stating that I have a more than average knowledge of how they operate as I started coming to their Eglinton location in August of 2020 and over the past 17-18 months I have been about 25 times and spent $3,500-4,000.However, I will not be going back as what seemed like just a minor inconvenience in the early days can actually hurt your health, in the long run. The MAIN issue, which may not seem major but actually is in the grander scheme of things is their ATROCIOUS front desk and admin staff and their inability to use the information systems they have. You might think like I used to well I'm here to see the doctor so who cares?" but think about what happens when their systems book you in the wrong time and then you show up after having waited weeks to see someone only to be told "you are there at the wrong time" and they ask you to leave although you triple confirmed over the phone. And then you have to wait even longer for a health issue that worsens over time.This is only one example. Others include:*When I was badly limping due to my temporary (and fixable) knee condition and trying to quickly book an appointment with my physio they took more than 10 days to get back to me despite several messages.*When I purchased a bundle of training passes to get their discounted rate... they should have provided a disclaimer stating that they'll miscount and overcharge you

Awesome experience at the Sports Medicine Clinic (now referred to as Cleveland clinic). Dr. Ivy Chang and Dr. Kraft are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I've been a patient of Jenna M. for a number of years and she is one of the best physios. I've worked with. They even have in house diagnostics which makes it super convenient if I need an x-ray or ultrasound (results within the hour)!
