Was very disappointed - called and explained that carpet cleaner would not work -gave make and model. Was told no problem bring it in and will fix. When I took it in I was told it would cost more to fix than a new one. I took it to a shop in Cambridge and it was fixed for 45$ --- This is not how customers should be treated. BEWARE

These Guy's" know their stuff!! Great central vac system

We bought a central vac from this shop in 2021. The very first week I had an issue with the handle not being able to switch the vacuum off. I took the hose in and they didn’t find anything. Assumed it was a glitch. Recently, the vacuum unit will shut off after about 10 minutes of use. When I turn it back on, the handle won’t turn off the vacuum. Unplugging the hose from the receptacle does nothing and the vacuumunit continues to run. I took the unit in and they found no issues. Told me I would need a house call for $200 that is not covered under the warranty, yet at purchase we were told it covered everything. Had the pipes vacuumed out for stuck debris and nothing. Turned the vacuum on again to a repeat of shutting down (the switch actually shut the unit off.). And when turned back on it won’t shut off without turning it off at the unit.Called on the Saturday and left a message asking for.a call back but nothing. Called Thursday left another message. They refuse to return my call. So disappointed in their lack of customer service and backing their product.Update.. received a call from the shop, with an apology for lack of response. He has advised he will come out to try a few things to fix my issue. Much appreciated his call and positive attitude.

Amazing service from the Woodstock location. We heard from friends that they had great deals. We bought a cordless Hoover stick vacuum, saving us 1/3 of the competitors sale price. I would highly recommend Guy's Vac Shop.

Quinn was very helpful by having knowledge of what might be wrong with my Miele vacuum before taking it for a service and clean. He knew about his products at the Woodstock location and helped me choose a vac that will tie me over till the Miele is ready to go. If u need vacuum service or a replacement see him first.
