Excellent store, many quality products if your a beginner or experienced reefer. If you can’t make it into store they have an excellent online store. Website is very well designed and very easy to order products. Quick and easy checkout. I have purchased many products, shipping is fairly quick. I have ordered fish online and there packaging and shipping were very good.I’ve had to return only once in dozens of products shipped. Very reliable.

Ordered a Fluval canister filter *value pack* online and shipped from BC to ON. I was skeptical of the free value pack filter media and the across the country shipping, but I decided to try it. The order was filled and shipped immediately. Arrived on time as promised. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the shipping box. Everything was securely packed and in perfect condition. The value pack was an exceptional free bonus. Will definitely order again with them.

This is the cleanest and most fairly priced coral store I've ever seen. Never had any problems with all the livestock I've bought from this store.Compare to other coral stores, Vancouver's and Toronto's. Only J&L has the most fair price. Also the corals are diverse and healthy. The marine fish are also very healthy, all the fish bought from this store have not got white spot disease and other diseases.The staff at this store are very patient and answer all your questions. Especially John, from the beginning to help me set up my tank, to the later stage when I encountered various problems, he was able to help me solve the problems professionally and quickly. If you are a newbie, I believe J&L is your best choice.

The one person that stands out over the others is John and he has been there over the entire time I have shopped there. Any business that keeps a great employee for that long is doing things right! March 20, 2021- love coming here for all my salt and fresh water supplies. Great place to take the kids. Better than going to the aquarium when you can learn to build your own. This place has salt water creatures of all kinds and great prices with experienced customer service. Great bulk pricing on many products. All staff are great and love what they do.Saturday September 19, 2020 - quite a long line up to get in. They only allow a handful of people in at a time due to protocols re covid19. Staff wearing masks came outside and helped customers shop for items they were sure they wanted to buy right away. This helped with the wait times and kept everyone happy. Also sharing conversations while in line made the wait worthwhile.

Nice store...very clean & the tanks well maintained. They have some really nice corals and salt water fish for sale. The prices are really reasonable and the selection is vast. The prices are for everyone, not just those with fat wallets. Everyone who works there is very nice, helpful and more than willing to answer any questions i had. There is a large parking lot there, however during the weekdays it is super busy, and the parking was abit tight. On the weekends the parking is no problem. For anyone without a vehicle, the skytrain station is directly across the street. J&L is wheelchair accessible and the store is easy to move around in.

J L Aquatics is the best in the fish business. I've been with them for nearly three years. Online orders are easy and delivered to my door. Occasionally, had a few problems with equipment and live stock, which they replaced or fixed.Brent is great help !

We recently purchased our first marine aquarium from J&L, and we had the pleasure of working with John. He was knowledgeable, very friendly, and patient with all of our questions. He spent a great deal of time showing us what we needed, helping us select the best supplies for the new tank, and providing helpful tips on how to succeed in our fish-keeping hobby. When some of our tank lights came with defective lenses, John helped replace them to ensure our equipment was in top-notch shape. Our experience at J&L has been very positive and we’d highly recommend J&L and John to others.
