Cardston Alberta Temple

Information Center at the front of the courtyard is open again after COVID. The flowerbeds are lush and colorful. The grounds are inviting for a stroll. These things can be enjoyed by anyone, (don't have to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints). Entrance to the temple building itself is only open to members under the guidance of their bishops.

I recommend to anyone visit this city not only the city but the county and of course Waterton Lakes National Park.

Always a great experience. I look forward to going again. Definitely an older" temple. The woodwork and murals are amazing. Be prepared to ask for directions to get around in the temple. I could see a remodel coming someday

Beautiful building with so much history! Lovely little town.

It's a beautiful temple. My parents both got married and cealed here. It was the main temple before the Calgary one was built.

This was an absolutely beautiful temple. Parking was very easy and the workers were exceptionally friendly and kind. The murals and woodworking were beautiful. The over all feeling was like coming home... earn and welcoming. This was our 87th temple visited. The interior was very unique. I will remember this one.

Being a convert in the Church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints ,the Cardston temple has a special place in my heart, as it was the first temple I visited as a new member .Alberta has three temples, Calgary and Edmonton each having a temple also , I recommend everyone who wants to feel the spirit or learn more about Mormons to visit the Cardston temple grounds and informational visitor center, have any burning questions answered by the missionaries or volunteers, While your there take advantage of a wonderful photo opportunity especially at night with a full moon and the beautiful night lighting all around the temple and it's grounds , and seasonal flowers and shrubbery, by the way this is a favorite wedding photo destination, a romantic get away for members and non members alike.As for members of the church visiting from abroad while in Cardston don't miss this opportunity to enjoy the unparalleled architecture inside the temple and enjoy a wonderful meal afterwards at the temple cafeteria .A point of interest the temple has a resident owl living on the temple grounds managing rodents.Having lived in Europe for many years I visited many historical religious, and architectural structures in Italy,Brussels France,Germany, and England , In my opinion the Cardston temples majestic, and architectural uniqueness puts it in a class of its own .

Super friendly people who helped us take a family picture in the garden area. They then invited us into the lobby and told us the history of the beautiful living water" fountain that is there.We also visited with the missionaries in the visitor's center

There is a wonderful visitor center with very friendly volunteers who are happy to share info, show videos and answer any questions. The temple grounds are beautiful as well.

A beautiful and amazing temple of the Lord in such a wonderful area. Highly recommend covenanting and worshipping here. The outside view is just the beginning. Prepare to enter spiritually.
