Soft Crete

Great work when it first goes and pricing is mid range. Once it is complete the follow up customer service is very poor in my opinion. My request for better customer service and this one star review have resulted in them threatening legal action against a customer for a bad review. That is one way to ensure all reviews are positive. I own multiple houses at any given time (to flip) and would not use this company again.

Marco and his team were absolutely fantastic. The team was neat, detailed and very professional to deal with. The price point was also very competitive. We're so happy with the end result and we look forward to years of enjoyment by the pool. Thanks a million, Elite Surfacing/SoftCrete !!!

We had Marco and his guys come install a pool surround for us in May of 2019. We had an old rough concrete surround before which meant a lot of scraped toes, knees, etc. Our kids were instantly thrilled with the SoftCrete finish, as were we. So much more comfortable on the feet, not as hot as concrete/stone in the middle of summer, and way more pleasant to climb out of the pool onto! Everyone who comes over comments on how great the SoftCrete feels, and we are always more than happy to recommend Marco and his team!Sadly, come the end of our first season, we noticed some rubber bits starting to separate from the finish. Just a couple at first, but it kept up. I got in touch with Marco and he was fantastic - he said they stood by their product and would come back to have a look and deal with our concerns.We have a solid 3’ border around the pool, and because we had made it to the end of the first season already, the material had bleached a little in the sun. As a result, had they only replaced certain areas of concern, we would have had visible divisions between newer/older material. We weren’t thrilled with that idea, and Marco again said he stood by the product and wanted us to be completely satisfied with the final outcome, so he committed to replacing the entire deck. 2020 Spring was crazy, and while we were on the list, a lot of people were waiting for their new pools to be finished. We weren’t in a huge hurry, as we could still use our pool in the interim, so we agreed he would come at the end of the season to replace our surface.I honestly can’t remember now why things didn’t pan out at the end of last season (I think weather, possibly?), but it turned out it was a blessing in disguise. We have lost a lot more material in the meantime, but also confirmed upon opening this spring that we have two leaks at our jets. We decided to replace our (original, 24 yr old!) liner at the same time as the pool is emptied to repair the leaks, and were concerned about Marco coming to complete the replacement this past spring, knowing our pool deck would be affected by the leak repairs.Marco has been absolutely fantastic about this whole situation!! He has shown us great flexibility and understanding, and is committed to working with us despite all these other factors. He has been waiting patiently for our repairs and liner replacement to be completed (as have we, this season has also been wild, and our liner has taken MUCH longer than originally planned), so that we can properly replace the SoftCrete and end up with a gorgeous finished product we can all be proud of.A lot of companies get rave reviews when things work out the first time. Not as many can maintain rave reviews when faced with difficulties/hiccoughs. We are so thankful for Marco’s patience and understanding, and remain steadfast in our support of his business and his costumer service! We highly recommend him to anyone looking for SoftCrete for any application, you won’t be disappointed!!

I was very impressed with Elite Surfacing from the outset! Marco and his entire staff who worked on our deck were very professional. In 2 days they transformed our pool deck into a space that we will enjoy for years to come. I highly recommend Elite and were very pleased that we chose his company to upgrade our Pool area. I was blown away by the work crew, who were very particular to every detail of the project. Their work ethic observed was second to none during the entire time. Thanks again for a job well done!

Marco and his team installed their product around our pool. The team was excellent. Two years later Marco personally repaired a few areas that degraded (my fault probably liquid chlorine splashes) and also delivered sealant as promised. Everything about the experience ( from the first consultation with Jay to the excellent work on the day of the installation - to the repair work the next day thanks to the neighbours dog who decided to take a stroll around -) was an absolute pleasure. Jay was knowledge, friendly and available when I needed him - and the crew were hard-working and efficient. I'm loving the look of my new pool deck and can't wait to be sitting poolside.

Jay and his crew were outstanding both in terms of the quality of installation and the cleanliness of the worksite. We had an old, tired concrete deck resurfaced with Softcrete and it looks amazing. It has made our pool deck the focal point of our backyard again. Jay was a pleasure to work with and informative of the product specs, installation questions, and post-installation service.
