Food was great, Drinks were good, Service was good, Made a reservation but still had to wait 15 or so minutes to be seated. One thing to mention is the knifes provided to cut the steak with were beyond dull and worn out , could just barely cut the meat after working it threw. For an expensive Steak house you think they would be on top of that.

Does not disappoint. Always goTo the keg for steak! Consistent cook, service and ambiance. I had the classic strip loin,Scallops for appies and billy Milner for dessert! Had a bottle of j lohr which is amazing they carry cause not many do.. food came out quickly. Steak is always cooked perfectly z Few things missed, hot sauce and steak knives which we had to ask for a second time but other than it was great!They have a parking lot not you can park at for cheap. Reservations done online is a must as it gets packed on the weekends.

We visit The Keg on Garry for special occasions and we always have a great time. Excellent servers, beautiful location inside and out - especially the patio in the evenings. Always great to see a seasonally changing menu with specialty drinks to match whatever you order. You won’t be disappointed!

I would recommend Gruyere Mushroom Dip (holiday feature), Calamari, Ribs and the Billy Miner Pie. We did have to stand and wait for about 25 minutes in order to be seated, despite having made a reservation - just something to keep in mind if you're going there on a weekend. Great service.

My family and I recently had the pleasure of celebrating a birthday at The Keg Restaurant, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The restaurant staff was friendly and accommodating, and the kids menu was a hit with the little ones. The baked brie was simply delicious, and the rib steak was cooked to perfection and came with some delicious roasted beets and green beans. Unfortunately, my wife wasn't happy with her sirloin, but we were pleasantly surprised when the manager went above and beyond to make it right. Overall, The Keg Restaurant is an excellent choice for special occasions and we will definitely be returning in the future.

The Keg has upped their game! It is so refreshing to experience this iconic Winnipeg restaurant return to their gold standard roots. The service was exceptional, and the food was perfection. If you haven't been to the downtown Keg in a minute, you won't be disappointed if you give it another try.

The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Garry Street
My Girlfriend and I came in for a late anniversary dinner on Thursday, February 16th. Our server, a young man named Evan, was fun, professional, attentive, and timely. Our entire meal, including 2 steaks, and dessert, was completed within 90 minutes of us sitting down, and all of the food was excellent. 5 stars, couldn’t recommend more, Evan was awesome !

Very disappointing visit to The Keg. Definitely not up to The Keg standards.It was busy since Jets game was the same night. It's understandable that the service would be slightly worse and quite a bit slow, but the food wasn't good at all. My steak was cold and overcooked, creme brulee desert was also cold and not soft. The ice cream cake was great.Overall, an unexpectedly bad experience. This was our first time at this location. Could be just bad timing but I doubt we will come there again.
