Silverdale Gun Club

This is a great place to enjoy and practice target shooting. I booked a session, and selected a package of 2 handguns and 2 rifles loaded with 10 ammunitions each for the price of $85. The handler was very good in teaching how to hit the bullseye. Luckily, I was able to hit 100% of the bullseye using the rifle. I was very bad in using the hand guns though. One more thing, this is the only gun club I know which allows non-members to use their facility. It was a great experience.

Had an awesome first visit shooting my own guns. Very safe and well staffed. Eric was super helpful and assisted sighting in my rifle and other casual gun chat. Would definitely return!

It's a great place to go to. Every staff is great. We were greeted with such high spirit and energy at the front desk. Our instructor was simply the best- Mike. He explained everything so well and was very sweet. Going there again for sure.

Fantastic trapshooting experience with Don. Great instruction for my group with tons of good & fun banter. Will be back!

It was one of my best friends birthdays in March. I needed some last minute arrangements/acceptances. Me an some of the boys came out to the range and everyone from the owner, front desk, range officer etc.. was nothing but helpful, and provided a great experience. Patrick, was an absolute gem and helped us sight in our rifles, gave advice on ammo and went above and beyond every step of the way. I've been to this range many times over the years, can't wait to go back. Highly recommend Silverdale and their staff if you're looking to shoot various firearms, at multiple distances, and get to in some good old fashion trap shooting!

I visited Silverdale a couple of times as a non membership visitor since 2017. I’d like to say this is my most favourite range within GTA. I would definitely join the membership if I was not live in Toronto, 150km away from Silverdale.In 2021 I sighted in my new Remington 783 30-06 here, and harvested a black bear later in north Ontario. I like to call Silverdale “my lucky range”.To the guys who complained the ROs regarding strictly surveillance behind the benchs, I would like to suggest that please review & follow the basic safety guidelines you learned when get your PAL. Please try to understand that as the shooting sport enthusiasts, now we all have a hardest time under current social environment. Any tiny accidents may cause range shutdown (it did happen before), maybe forever in the worst case. Moreover, it’s you to take the responsibilities of the safeties of yourself and your guest.Btw, in the picture it is CZ 527 7.62*39. It shoots Barnaul rounds very accurately but spit like a birdshot with the Norinco non corrosive round.

Shooting here must not deviate. If you are a beginner, I don't think this place is for you. I was invited by a friend to experience rifle shooting here. I was very nervous when I started shooting at the 50 yard range. When I was shooting, an older white guy yelled at me, You're shooting too high

Just wanted to thank Don and the team for hosting us yesterday. He made it an absolute blast for all 6 of us with varying experience. Took his time, showed patience when needed. Nothing felt rushed and everyone felt included.Silverdale gun club as a whole was a very nice setup. Was pouring rain but that didn’t stop anything. Only downer was couldn’t get out targets after. Not a big deal at all. Nice selection of guns and packages. Reasonably priced from what I’ve seen. But worth every penny.Thanks guys. Look forward to next time!

I visited Silverdale to work on zeroing my rifle. Katherine at the desk was very friendly. She provided clear instructions on where to go after signing in. When we got to the range, Mike T greeted us with enthusiasm. He provided us with precise and clear instructions on how to use the range safely. Mike shared his wisdom with us. He coached us through the whole process. We shared great conversation. I feel grateful to have worked with Mike T. All the other staff we talked to were super friendly, and maintained a safe environment for all. We can't wait to return!

Eric is the best teacher ever hands down! Me and my family went to shoot some guns and he taught is how to load shoot everything! The place is beautiful and super accommodating. Must try if you wanna shoot some targets or wanna learn how to shoot.
