Econo Lodge

Great place to stay. Close to the river with gorgeous views.Econo lodge was quiet,clean,and the beds were VERY comfortable ,which is saying alot,as l have three types of arthritis. I slept like a baby.My luggage got delayed,and l went to stay with a relative. My luggage got delivered four days later,and econo lodge owners let me have it delivered there .Super nice people and great food at their restaurant ,Chatter's.I definitely recommend staying here !Close enough to walk to several restaurants and attractions.

Great place for a short stay. Clean, but, not fancy. Little noisy in evenings in summer, loud motorcycle traffic and sporty cars. No blame to motel. Quiet at night for sleeping

It was a pleasure staying at this property, which is 2 minutes walking from Miramichi River.Overall the experience was brilliant and enjoyed our stay a-lot. The staff were very inviting and accommodated us and our requests, they were friendly and approachable.We are sad to leave Today. I will definitely stay here again.

The family who owns this hotel are incredibly cheap & advertise their hotel as the cheapest in Miramichi to lure you in. So they can charge you for anything they see fit.Ive worked for 4 different hotels. 1 of them was a choice hotel & this is not the standard they expect of their franchises.When we checked in, they said if my children move furniture we would be charged.We never recieved room service so had to use the same towels for 3 days and then once we finally convinced them to give us new towels & they took our old towels back they said they were so dirty they wouldnt be able to clean them and we would have to be charged.We also used the towels to clean up water and coffee off of the floor & they said we should have asked for rags from front desk. When we were cleaning up the water, the towels got dirty because the floors werent clean aside from being swept.Again, Ive worked in 4 hotels & we expect dirty towels from our guests.The owners are scam artists and it is a shame that they are working under econolodge because again, choice hotels have a higher standard than this.I'm not sure how other guests have reviewed their service as friendly, however i do assume that they do not like children at all and that is why they were so rude to us.

Everything was great, but they didn't leave any coffee in my room, I had to ask for it. And it was not good for them to try to enter the room without informing them. The cleaning was very good. All the staff were very helpful.

Worst motel I've ever been to. We were asked to leave at 11pm and cancel.our 2 night 2 room reservation. At 10pm after staff were upset we placed TV on table infront of window to watch leafs game from patio. We complied and put TV back in original.location. and we're extorted with a $600 deposit 4 hours after we checked. No other guest were charged that sort of deposit. I refused to pay and Jason called the cops to have us removed.

This is an Econolodge not a Ritz Carlton or Hilton, you get what you pay for but this small room seemed a little expensive for category.Room was small but well maintained and especially important for me quite clean.One irritant was noise, I was on ground floor so could clearly hear people in rooms above walking or TV and talking from in next door rooms.After a day of fishing, a few guys were drinking beers in front of room next to mine, although they stopped chatting and drinking around 10pm , till then I could hear ice in coolers churning with every beer they took out of the cooler, I clearly understood every word of their fishing conversations.Again not a Hilton but clean.

Price to Quality not Terrible. Have a nice little walk to Tims and a very small roundabout park in the middle of Newcastle. Didnt really hear other in the motel aor traffic outside. Most likely had a face lift during covid as the outside has been update some what recently. Room aren't bad either. Clean, Bed was decent.For what's giving the price shouldn't be increasing, but we seem to be living in times of high prices for everything.
