Yummy Market

Wow! First time here. If you are from Eastern Europe or love their food, this is the place. I took a young man from Ukraine, he was blown away by the selection.

They have this amazing tea selection at a very good price. I already tried 4 of them and they are delicious.

Excellent store, indeed a great European experience. Huge selection of products, including bakery, desserts, deli, cheese, meats, vegetables and all kinds of groceries. Also a large selection of cooked meals. The desserts we bought were fresh and delicious. Highly recommended.

Very disappointed with the Smetannik. Have been really looking forward for this cake and bought a piece only to bite into it and want to spite it out! I could even see by looking at the dough it’s a complete scheme because the dough is like a cheap sponge cake, angle food cake, or Sara Lee from a box. Smetannik is a heavy cake and should be made with quality ingredients and very embarrassing for Yummy Market to play these games especially when many of their customers grew up on these cakes and know what Smetannik should taste like. To charge $5.99 for a little piece of *imitation Smetannik* is highway robbery and the bakery should be ashamed.

Great selection of variety of European foods. Full grocery and hot table, cold cuts and fairly quick service. This stores carries produce, fish, fresh food, baked goods, breads, alcohol and everything else that you can find in your everyday grocery store.

I used to like this store because it’s close and it has my favourite meat and cheese counter, but today around noon I had a very bad experience in front of the store not as a customer, with the staff.I was walking my dog in the neighbourhood and we were passing yummy store. We stopped near the exit (more than 10’ away) and not long a man came out and told me to go to the other side of the store. (He said something like can you please move to the other side/further?) He was not talking respectfully and it was more like an order, so I ignored him. Then he came out again and told me to move and saying he was going to call the police. I didn’t give him good attitude because he was not being polite to me and I said do anything you like. Then he was trying to tell another lady who is not working at Yummy to tell me to leave. I saw my dog was getting a little nervous and uncomfortable so I thought that would be enough for now.It was not a good experience at all so I decided to call the store and complain what happened. Guess what? He is the manager! Instead of letting me finish my talk, he jumped into my talk and hung up on me.Poor service from the manager who was supposed to ensure customer satisfaction when something happened. Yummy Market is a fantastic grocery store with a great selection of international foods. The store offers a wide variety of fresh produce, meats, cheeses, and baked goods from all around the world. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the prices are reasonable. The store also has a cafe and bakery that serves delicious food and pastries. Highly recommended for anyone looking for unique and delicious ingredients or a tasty meal!

One of my favourite grocery stores to shop at as they have a variety of Asian and Eastern European ingredients that you cannot find anywhere else. Great selection of cold cuts and cheese and also the meat section is reasonably priced and fresh.

Amazing supermarket. I only ever really go here for their baked goods and pastries. Always fresh and tasty. Lots of different items to choose from. I specifically love their Napoleon cake. It is so good!
