Very nice bakery. We ordered a Black Forest cake for a special birthday which tasted really nice and looked wonderful. Picked up a few croissant as well — the plain, chocolate, and almond. Each were good. The raspberry cube looks very cool, although it was lacking in filing and texture for me.

Changing to 5 stars after multiple repeat visits. Best plain croissants in town hands down! The Black Forest, Mont Blanc and Mille Feuille were also a huge hit!

We ordered apple pie and almond croissant. The apple pie was pretty good with lots of fillings but the almond croissant was just normal, maybe we came near the end of day so it wasn't fresh enough. Prices are high for the quality, the shop is cute though.

Every time I go here, I really want to like it but something always happens that makes the experience bad.The staff seem like they don’t care, they ignore you, are aloof and rude, and make the interaction awkward.They also tend to run promotions that just don’t make sense. They had a buy one get one drink special. Except the fine print is that you buy a large and you get a medium free. I asked if I could pay for the large, and just get 2 mediums (so that my partner and I could have the same size drinks) and they were very confused by this. They also had a macaron promo where the number you had to buy to get one free was like 15 or something. It just didn’t make sense. Honestly I’d be less disappointed if they had no promotions instead of ones that are frustrating.There are much better places in the neighborhood to get baked goods and coffee.

Ordered some cake slices (Mille Feuille, Exotic Flower, and Sacher) from here for the first time (via UberEats) and was thoroughly impressed. The cakes were delicious, unique-tasting, and beautifully crafted. You can tell they use fresh ingredients and their pastry chefs are skilled. Will eat there in person next time to try their drinks too. Their whole/custom cakes on their website also look exquisite; planning to order one for an upcoming birthday.

Best cakes I have eaten in Vancouver! I ordered my Christmas dessert from this bakery and it surely did not disappoint. The Black Forest cake was so beautifully decorated and the taste was excellent. We also enjoyed the Santa Strawberry cake .... it was amazing as well. My guests were very impressed and we all will be ordering from this bakery again. Thank you Foret Noir Bakery for making our Christmas dinner so special!

My first visit at Forêt Noire. On this light snow falling afternoon, I dropped by to this unique cafe to have some Me time. Instead of having their signature Black Forest, I ordered London Fog. Love its frothy and smooth texture, with little mild sweet, just made my day.

Everything I've tried here is excellent. They are offering hot breakfast on weekends and it's definitely worth a try. The one I got had sausage, omelet, 2 slices of bread, roasted tomato, and potatoes. Flavors were on point. I also got some pastries and cakes for take out. We tried the exotic flower, opera and bamboo. Loved the flavors for all of them. Will definitely try more when I am in the area.The place is chill and staff is very helpful. Chef even took the time to explain the cakes to me as I was looking for something that has more sponge component.Come check out this place. You won't regret it.Came back after a few months and got the pastries -- queen amann and apricot danish. They are so good. The pastries are flaky and with just the right amount of sweetness. Pastry chef is excellent!

French style patisserie, Croissants, chocolates and more! Good customer service. Nice and clean place. Drinks can be better. I felt bit overpriced. Street parking available.
