The Salvation Army Thrift Store
Pretty good little second hand shop. Lots of goodies to look through, though the aisles are too narrow. If I had brought a stroller or was using a wheelchair it would be too crowded to get around. They staff seemed busy with organising and putting out more stock, so they didn't really greet you. The one cashier at the front was friendly and prompt to ring you in, though, which was nice. Prices seemed a little steep, but I did find a couple of gems. Overall worth a stop-in if you're fond of thrift-hunting or on your way to another one of the shops/restaurants nearby.

Found 5 brand new t-shirts for my husband. These are plus sized and still had the fold creases. Got all 5 plus kids things for less than the cost of 1 shirt retail.

I used to enjoy the store much better before they started to over organize....and gentrify..... I liked it much better when it was more fun to search through more cluttered and disorganized shelves...and the prices were better to.....it's ok now but too sterile and organized for me

I pop in about once a month because it used to be one of my favourite thrift stores. I came in today and was really disappointed at the price gouging happening- $7 for a pilled SHEIN shirt that retails for $3. $24.99 for a pair of timberland knockoffs (last month I got a pair of new authentic timberlands here for $20). $9.99 for the worlds most beat up pair of adidas sneakers (didn’t even have laces) that you’ll ever see. $20 for a dirty Levi’s light jacket. $8 for a coffee mug. Your product is free. People shop here to be thrifty- it’s literally in the name of the store. Do better.Higher than one star because the employees at the front are lovely.

Rude employee. Caucasian women named Mercedes says on the receipt, was very rude. Didn’t say hi, bye or have a good day completely ignored me while at the register. I’m a visible minority and I can tell it was a race thing. So disappointing.

If you want to find good deals and amazing staff, you should check out Salvation Army along Goldstream Ave near Dollarama.

Took my dog in a my purse staff informed me no dogs are Allowed in the store and that would be fine with me if there was a sign on the door that actually said that. The only sign says service animals welcome" not "service animals only" maybe get a proper sign. Store service is good otherwise"

Friendly employees (recent one star review complaining of Mercedes being ‘rude’ completely disregards in-store signage noting she has a hearing impairment). Regularly score great thrift finds. 4/5 only because I wish they’d expand into the vacant space next door to be able to carry furniture.

Rude employees. Some man was trying to let a lady go infront of him in line waiting outside the store to get in, he was trying to be polite and one of the employees at the door said no we don't allow that?? As i was starting at her in disbelieve another one of the employees came over and told me to pull up my mask rudly when It wasn't even down?!? I also if somthing was part of a set and pricing on it another one of the employees made me feel stupid and rudly replied back to me. Wont be going back.

Honestly a pretty lame thrift store. Not a lot of interesting items and it was all over priced. Staff were friendly though.
