The ambiance of the place was great, but the food was absolutely terrible. I especially went to try the South Indian thalli with Kerala paratha , the food was cold, a chapati was served with Terrible rice , I might just finished the gulab jamun and that’s pretty much it, and they didn’t even have Kerala paratha. So we ended up ordering milk shake , I had gotten a Sharja milk shake, which seemed like a chocolate milkshake. Absolutely terrible experience. Wouldn’t try it again

We enjoyed every second of our stay there. Once we reached, after a warm welcome we ordered our appetizers.Dahi vada and papad. Both had great flavour and authentic taste. I loved the dahi tadka on the top !!For the mains, we ordered Masala dosa and Mysore masala dosa. The entire meal was superb and had perfectly balaced flavour.One can actually taste the richness in sambhar.On top of that, our server was very nice and polite. She helped and took great interest in serving. Definitely coming back.

Had a lunch today at this place, loved the food and presentation and the ambience is great as well.Service was excellent ! If you want to try a delicious authentic Dosa then this is the place you want to go to. Each item in the plate tasted fresh.

This is a hidden gem. You go here if you want authentic south Indian food that is not westernized. Kothu parotta is amazing.

I ordered Paneer Dosa and Gobi Manchurian, and the food tasted delicious. However, I would like to suggest a couple of improvements or changes.Firstly, I recommend playing some music in the restaurant to create a livelier atmosphere. It can be too quiet and boring without any background music.Secondly, please ensure that every dish brought to the table is accompanied by a spoon for serving. During my two visits, I noticed that there were no spoons provided with the curry or starters, which made it inconvenient.Thirdly, it would be beneficial to work on reducing the cooking time for the food. If the reason for the delay is a shortage of staff in the kitchen, I suggest hiring at least two people to assist and expedite the cooking process.Lastly, consider the order in which the food is served. It would be preferable if the drinks are served first, followed by the starters, and the curries served last. In my case, I received the Dosa first, then the starters, and the drink was served last, which disrupted the flow of the meal.I hope you will take these suggestions into consideration and focus on improving these aspects for the success of your business.

Small quaint restaurant with very Indian decore. But comfortable!Food served in good time. Very flavourful! Really enjoyed the mutton biryani. Served directly from the bamboo stalk tableside. Serving portions very generous and filling.Dosa served with 3 different chutneys on the side. Fresh and easy to tear. Did notice the rice was a little on the dry side.Reasonable prices. Work reccomend to someone for a good Indian restaurant to eat at.

It is one of the south indian restaurants in edmonton. I went with my friends for lunch and ordered tali meals, biriyani, puttu combo and chatti choru. I enjoy the fact that they serve in a very traditional way. Only few staffs available there and they are friendly too. Halal certified meat available. Very spacious restaurant and car parking available. Ambience in average. Biriyani was not an authenticate kerala style. I didnt feel the aroma. Puttu was soo dry and beef was good. Chatti choru and tali meals was so nice. Masalas and spices were not blended in some of the curry dishes.

Good place. Stew with coconut milk was disappointing. It’s too creamy. Appam was decent. Non veg platter was also good but cauliflower was more in quantity than any other meat.Good spacious dine in space is available.Biriyani Rice was perfect. But the masala was more. *this is a highly subjective statement though.

Chatti choru is so authentic, like home made. Loved it. Dessert should be traditional too. We got gulab jamun.
