Last Chance Sandwich | Last Chance Sandwich is a Deli, Cafe & Mercantile just 2 km from Cape Breton Highlands National Park! We make our sandwich fillings from scratch daily and use local suppliers wherever possible! Biscuits are baked fresh every morning and all sandwiches are available as a gluten-free option! Last Chance Sandwich
Was up riding the Cabot trail and stopped in for a to go sandwich. I ended up talking to the owners a bit and they are great people. My sandwich was delicious, homemade and affordable. Highly recommend stopping in if you are in the area. I may just take another trip just for a sandwich!

Such an awesome spot! The sandwiches/wraps were very delicious. There were a perfect amount of options— vegetarian and vegan options too!The owner was very friendly. There were also a shop full of fun gifts like earrings, shirts, reusable materials etc. Super cute and couldn’t recommend it more! :)

Absolutely delicious sandwiches in super fresh, locally baked bread and ingredients. The cookies are amazing too. We loved our egg salad sandwich and Ham and cheese sandwich so much that we went back again today and provisioned for today and tomorrow’s big drives! Great selection and super cute art and antiques for sale too!Can’t recommend this place enough!!!

The sandwiches have so little meat and plain flavors for the price. We had two sandwiches and one soup and still feel hungry. The owner also over charged us.

Such a great sandwich place in Cape Breton! We went here on vacation and grabbed some sandwiches to go, which were delicious! The shop has great artwork and souvenirs, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Thank you, will definitely come back.

The sandwiches are tasty. Good selection of sandwich and sweets. We had the tuna and turkey. Make sure to stop by early before they run out. We also visited Thor for coffee (owned by same family). The coffee is top notch. Hope you guys have success at your new location. See you again soon.

Delicious sandwiches! We had a lentil and walnut sandwich, as well as a tofu egg" salad and a tofu "chicken" salad. Super filling

The good:Loved the ability to order in advance.Sliced white bread was excellent.Fresh ingredients!Things to consider:Since the marketing is for your lunch on the trail we where surprised by the very thin slices of cheese and three slices of meat. It would be great to have a double meat and cheese option.We ordered mustard and got Dijon mustard (which had a strong favour that took over the sandwich). Just as an FYI if you have a preference.

Last Chance Sandwich
We really liked this little spot, just outside the entrance to the park. Perfect to grab a bite to eat, or stock up on provisions for a hike. The owner was lovely and friendly, and the vintage items and art pieces are carefully curated. Homey (in the best way) and very charming. It’s a new business and I suspect it will have great success. We hope to return someday soon!
