I bought a house with Dimplex baseboard heaters. The programmable thermostat is clunky and very user un-friendly. However, they had a great app to control them (Connex) and that made it a great system and easy to control from the phone. Now the app has been discontinued, leaving me with a thermostat that seems like it was designed in 1993. It was a terrible decision to do away with the app - you threw away a solution that made your product great, and left us with a third-rate product.

took 2 months to receive an undamaged unit and on installation discovered a faulty wiring harness. Again a two month wait for the part to be delivered. Now it has been almost three weeks waiting for the part to be installed. Would not recommend anyone purchase their products. Terrible customer service.

Great TV stand unit 10yrs!! only issue is how long it takes to get a replacement flicker motor! Especially your basically local! Amazon next time don’t really need the remote anyways, never use it.

Requested call back for a baseboard heater that’s not working. Didn’t receive call back. Tried holding, and still on hold for 38min and counting. Is this a part time department? How many calls can they possibly get a day about heaters?Update:They picked up around 58mins. They service all of N.A and this is a very busy time. I guess it is what is. They were helpful. Stars reduced for a loooong wait.

Bought these products to heat my cottage because they could be accessed remotely. Today they announced the discontinuation of all the remote products.STAY AWAY from this company. The products were questionable from the outset, the remote technology seems like it came from the 1950’s and the support was a joke. They canceled all the products with less than 2 weeks notice!! What a scam!!What ever they offer, my recommendation would be to run from the offer and find a reputable company rather than these jokers.The management of this company must be stunned. Instead of moving ahead with new technology they are going in reverse. Soon they will sell coal and two sticks to rub together for lighting it.

We recently installed a 50 Linear Dimplex fireplace in our basement. At first I didn't think I had the space for it but this one is only 6" deep. I am so glad we installed it as it adds so much ambience and warmth to the space. It's so sleek and minimal in design. And it's always fun to show guests the many different flame colours - love that feature!"

My electric fireplace overheated. Cord was HOT. I called Dimplex Customer Service. After waiting on hold over an hour, Amy described the part she felt I needed, which I ordered. I had a technician come to install the part. It did not fit my unit. He saw that the mechanics that run the heater were singed and melted and had almost caused a fire. We tossed the unit.I have been trying for 2 weeks to get an RA to return the unused, wrong part. Hours on the phone, multiple emails. Jackie...Chad...it's in the queue to be addressed, but they are very far behind in returns.I do not feel this is a reputable company. Be warned.

Horrible customer service. Bought a brand new convectair calypso in October 2021. A month later the device starts acting and shutting down on its own.Called it in with dimplex mid November. We’re middle of January 2022 still have not received a unit.They make you take stickers off the unit, ( you have to open the unit to do) they make send the sticker via UPS which is an added cost. They didn’t know what product I was talking about, even though it’s easily found on their website. Avoid this company and products at all cost.
