River Loop Trail
Great walking trails in and around Fort Edmonton. It’s always nice to get out and enjoy nature and this trail is will get you close to it. You can park at Fort Edmonton and immediately start walk on this second the river valley trail system. There are no washroom facilities available.

This is a very nice area. Most trails are disability accessible. Can be high traffic. Many secondary trails go into very quiet areas with little homeless pollution.

Today is very gusty when we walk this Whitemud Creek Ravine. Most snow has melted. We enjoy the walk from Snow Valley to Ogivie, seeing bridges, streams, birds, & ducks from spring to fall. It is a nicely maintained trail.
