I had never been here before and I sat down with one of the owners Shelly and long story short she ended up telling me I owe 5200$ in taxes, when I asked for her advice she suggested I start paying the balance of 5200$ off immediately. I had my taxes re assessed by my immediate family members long term accountant and received a refund opposed to owing 5200$.

Run by two sisters, this incredibly knowledgeable team understood well the time management struggles of a young family during a uniquely restrictive time. Accommodating our schedule, the sisters went above and beyond meeting our particular tax needs. They maintained an open line of communication, provided constant feedback on our file status, took initiative to follow-up on outstanding materials, and provided the utmost customer service. Despite their busy schedule, the team even went so far as to help locate previous filing information for matters outside of our current filing needs. Their service and advice have proven so exemplary that we intend to schedule quarterly sessions throughout the year. We feel incredibly relieved knowing that we have finally found tax professions who are truly competent.

Few weeks ago my mother went to this Liberty Tax location to do her taxes, I went along because I speak better english. I met the new owners, two sisters Shelley and Jeni who got everything done quickly, and the price was more than fair.Once I received my paperwork for the taxes I noticed my employer had made some major errors on my T4, this really complicated things for me. I called Shelley who made some time to see me on the day, it really put me at ease after she reviewed my situation. Shelley knew what needed to be done and how, and was able to help me get everything in order. Not only did everything get done, I was kept informed in detail of all the steps and options.I was particularly happy that she actually took the time to do all the work, and I was able to get a coffee, rest my mind at ease and come back to finalize everything in the evening. The price was again, more than fair for the amount of work that was done.So grateful for everything.I absolutely recommend them.

Shelley was great! This was my first time coming to this location (previously would go to Hamilton). She took care of all my needs and my questions, was very professional and very knowledgeable. I had a follow up question a few months later that wasnt directly related to my taxes but future returns, and she was more than helpful providing me with the documents and links to access forms.

Worst tax filing experience ever. Shelly doesn’t get back to you, seems very scattered and unorganized.Checked off wrong box on form which caused a problem. Had to keep calling to get my taxes done before deadline and that was after she had my paperwork for two months.Will never use liberty tax again.

Second time I’ve seen Shelly and couldn’t be happier with my experience and my return! I didn’t expect it but she dived a bit deeper into my situation and was able to resolve and recover more of my funds! She was very professional and I enjoyed meeting and chatting with her very much. She answered all of my questions and I will be returning and recommending Shelly to friends and family!

Shelly knows her stuff. Made handling my sisters estate less confusing and got all the figures right.
