After getting a few quotes to re-paint our kitchen cabinets, I was so discouraged. BUT then Tariq gave us an incredible quote to refresh the entire kitchen for the cost the other company gave us to do only the cabinets. And it looks INCREDIBLE!Tariq and his contractors painted all our cabinets, replaced our countertop, and installed a backsplash. I really appreciated the attention to detail, willingness to fix the small things that needed doing, and the care and respect the contractors took while in our home. Our kitchen is completely transformed, and it's everything we wanted in our smaller budget. Would absolutely hire his services again! Thanks, Tariq!

Tariq’s team did a fabulous job on our renovation! We bought an old home and they revamped the kitchen and bathrooms at a sensible price. Whole project took about 2 months which we thought was reasonable considering material delays sicknesses etc. they are now doing our basement development! Tariq was easy to deal with, his crew was very communicative, and he didn’t upsell but rather gave us efficient and cost effective solutions to complete our project!

This is my first renovation experience so I was a little nervous but I really needed new floors . Tariq made the entire process seemless and really easy. He has a great team that are reliable, friendly and respectful. The work I had done was ripping out laminate on main floor and carpet on stairs , installation of new floors in kitchen, living room , hall and stairs , new baseboards and a last minute decision to install a new toilet . When he said someone would be here they were so there was no wasted time waiting for workers to show up . I made a few small additions and Tariq let me know the extra cost straight away so there were no surprises when I got the final bill. The end result is just beautiful, I love my new floors and stairs so much. I will definately have him back for future work........ And there is lots at my place . Hired Bakir to do some renovations in my house.1. Removing carpet in basement & installing vinyl planking.2. Interior painting of all 3 levels of house.3. Build a closet in basement4. Install and finish Shiplap feature wall.Bakir was good to deal with upfront - quote was received in good time. Pricing was fairly competitive.1. Flooring installation - Rockstars! His flooring guys were amazing - ontime and high quality work.2. Painting - quality is ok. Timing for the painters was a little challenging3. Carpentry workers - Brutal with a capital B. Impossible to schedule Wife or I would skip work to meet them as we do not work from home. They would either show up hours late or not at all. Carpenters would lie to us about what happened. Bakir didn't understand that we do not work from home.- Built a closet -which I asked for and there was nothing in it. Just doors and an empty room. no bar, nothing.4. Shiplap - feature wall was installed in a hurry. It looks okay with one major problem - 2 weeks after the job was finished, I was washing a couple of handprints off the wall & the paint washes off with water on a wash cloth. The whole wall - paint washes off with just a bit of water.I am repainting it myself, as I don't need the aggravation of dealing with the contractor anymore.I would hire his flooring guys & painter again - stay away from the carpentry would be my review.

Had Tariq and his group complete a full renovation of the entire upstairs of our home. Flooring throughout including some subfloor levelling prior to new floor install, all new baseboard, painting of cabinets in kitchen & 2 bathrooms, new quartz countertops & subway tile backsplash’s in kitchen & 2 bathrooms, wall painting & painting of old wood bannister/railings. Tariq works with a great group of tradespeople. Brad (Painter) & Chase (Carpenter) are two of the especially gifted sub-contractors that we were lucky enough to have work on our home. Tariq & his group provide a very professional, quality service at an affordable price. If you are reading this thinking of doing a renovation, you won’t be disappointed with Bakir Contracting. Would recommend Tariq to anyone that was considering a home renovation.

Excellent work fixing a couple of very bad walls. Took 5 gallons of mud to straighten and smooth the walls in our media room. These guys are professional and skilled. They did the job quickly as well.

Contacted Bakir Contracting because they had painted my daughter’s kitchen cupboards and did a fabulous job.I asked for a quote to paint my main floor to surprise my husband while he was out of town so he wouldn’t have to complete this task.Tariq provided me a reasonable quote and was able to accommodate my specific timelines.The painters shout out to Jessica and Darren who were great arrived on time and put in an incredible work day.
