Norse Heating & Fireplace

We really enjoyed our experience of working with Norse to remove a wood burning stove that we have decided not to keep. They were incredibly nimble to schedule it in, and very friendly, professional and quick on-site. Jamie is a wealth of knowledge on the stoves and we learned a lot from him through the process. We would definitely use their services again and highly recommend them!

These guys came and cleaned my chimney before Christmas, i lit a fire and my house filled with smoke, stove would not draft every time I tried the house filled with smoke. I called them a few times and emailed all before Christmas and no response, I let it go over the holidays than started calling and emailing again, still no response, to this day no response. I called another company and they came and cleaned it, and showed me how much stuff came out it was almost completely clogged...I can deal with people messing a job up, I get it it happens, come back and make it right no big deal but ignoring me after you get my money is trash, if I could leave zero stars I would.

Just had a chimney sweep done along with an inspection of our wood stove and flue. Can't recommend Norse Heating highly enough - they are first class professionals! Great service, tidy, thorough and they took the time to give us a detailed report of the condition of the flue. They even did a small repair on the collar at no charge. Their rates are reasonable and their service is first class! Wish I could give more stars.

Norse have been reliable and professional when we've used them to sweep out Chimneys. We had a Flue to insert connection fail due to the shoddy workmanship of another company and Norse fixed it for free. Would highly recommend Jamie and team.

Just got my chimney cleaned and I'm happily impressed with Norse Heating. Quick, professional service, really friendly guys. They were careful to keep things clean while they worked, and I appreciated that they made the effort to show and explain to me how well my woodstove was working and the amount of build up I had. I would not hesitate to recommend Norse to anyone needing service and they will be my only call for my future servicing needs.Thanks guys!

Norse came by today and cleaned our woodstove. They used a long pole from the inside of the house with a spinning brush on the end. They said the sometimes clean from the roof, but our chimney is hard to access and is close to power lines, so they opted inside.The two techs were courteous and efficient. They laid out lots of blankets and covered the vacuum that was sucking up the ash. In all very little ash was released into the house.They answered the questions we had and even took their shoes off in the house, you can see their socks in the photo :)In all, the process only took about a half hour. Norse is very busy this time of year, but they are good at communicating by email and we’re able to book us in during a cancellation slot.See you again next year!

THE WORST...terrible customer service. We had Norse in to service an issue with a gas fireplace that was installed by them. They didn't fix the issue, but charged us $150. We then called them to come back and fix the issue and for the past 6 months have been getting the run around. They first said, The tech will call you back." No call. Then we were told the tech had left the company and they had no one who could repair gas fireplaces
