Fantastic and efficient service. I phoned on a Monday with an urgent request. I got an appointment on Tuesday. The meeting was on time. Kristy was very friendly and explained every step of the process in detail. I would highly recommend.

I would strongly recommend NEVER using Farley Martin notaries.I’ve found this company’s practices completely unacceptable. In my experience, they are disorganized and unprofessional.I hired them for a conveyance about two months before the closing date for the sale of my property.The same day I hired them, I found out the buyer for my property had listed them as her notary also (which isn’t normally allowed). I phoned Farley Martin back that same day to cancel so I could hire a different notary. The person I spoke to asked for the buyers name, the address of the sale etc. She then told me not to cancel my booking with them, they didn’t have a file for this other person, I was the only one who had phoned and booked them and the buyer would have to go elsewhere because I had booked first. I said okay and left it at that.Fast forward to two weeks before the closing and they call me and tell me they are cancelling my booking with them because the buyer has some sort of prior relationship with Kristy (a notary public there).They said I had no choice and were sending my file to some other company I’ve never heard of. It’s now less that two week before the closing and I haven’t had so much as an email or phone call from this other notary.Essentially, even though I booked them almost two months beforehand and they didn’t let me cancel my appointment when I alerted them to the problem, they cancelled my booking anyways. They apparently rank their clients from most important to least, and you can get bumped out if someone more important than you books in afterwards.If you value your time, and don’t enjoy being stressed right before major financial transactions, do not hire these people.I wish I had read more reviews and asked around before I did business with them. Hopefully this helps others not make the mistake I did.

Farley Martin went above and beyond. My deal to buy my house almost fell through night before due to the other party. I called them first thing crying and explained the situation. They told me not to worry and that they'd see what they could do and figure it out. They ended up fixing everything and my family is happily living in our house thanks completely to them and their amazing hard work and dedication to their clients. Thanks a million!!!

I have done business in the past with them, I just sold a property a few days ago and found out that they did an incorrect adjustment on the lease, when I asked what was going on and how they can fix this? I got silly excuses in the end. I hired professionals to look after my purchases and my sale.Word of advise only hire lawyers in the future as notaries are such a grey area on what they can actually professionally do.I will be taking this firm to small claims court to get my adjustment back since they have ghosted me after several emails.

First Rate Notary Service. We refer our friends, family and clients to Kristy and company often for real estate and other matters requiring a notary. They are always professional, thorough, and friendly to deal with.

My wife and I worked with them when we purchased our first house several months ago here in Langford. Kristy Martin was exceptional and went out of her way to make sure we fully understood the process and was very patient with answering our many questions as first time home buyers. The entire process was smooth and stress free, largely in part to Kristy and her staff. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for assistance with a home sale or purchase.

Well, our transaction did get done, but I am not sure it would have if we had simply left it in their hands. There seemed to be some intermediate tasks that weren't properly handled by the support staff, and a woman named Janette seemed untrained but pushy to the point of being rude. We found that we had to check in and follow up on their work because things were a little disorganized and communication was lacking. If it wasn't for Kristy we probably would have walked. In the end it worked out but it seemed to be a bit more trouble that it was worth for a simple transaction.

We went to see Kristy to assist us in some of our legal dealings and future planning. Her extensive knowledge, guidance and of course great character made the process very easy and gave us the comfort that our course of action was the right way to go.The office is in a great new location and so glad to see such a green" initiative for a business.Taking technology to the hilt and it works!!Thanks again Kristy and the rest of your staff. My wife and I had used them several years ago and they were great,however, this time I found that I had to follow up on everything they did or didn't do, very annoyed. I even went so far to tell them what to pay or not pay didn't matter.its been three weeks now and my realtor hasn't even been paid. Won't use them again.

They certified my documents quickly and at a fair price. I didn't even have to make an appointment. Will definitely be back the next time I need a notary.
