Do they teach French

Unfortunately, the saying is true about first impressions. I sent an email to discuss my daughter being a prospective student and was invited for a tour on November 12 (today), and asked to tell a bit about her and our family. I confirmed availability and promptly replied to the questions asked, only to never hear back from them again. I have no idea why my email was never returned and why the tour never happened, and wish they would have explained. We have a great family, even an alum in the family, and this school was our first choice for our daughter. We would have happily invested the money to her education at this school when the time came had they only been responsive. My only thought is that our daughter is too young, since I had asked about if there were any waitlists and explained I wanted to start looking around well in advance to make an informed choice for when she reached kindergarten age. All they had to do was answer our questions or let us know to check back in a couple years for pre-school options, but instead complete silence for weeks. Since they didn't explain anything, it automatically removed them from our consideration. We would never consider a school that can't even respond to basic questions and completely disregards and ignores prospective students and parents. Imagine how incompetent they would be once they have your money, when they can't even invest time into securing students in the first place?

why only girls?

The school’s admissions office Sun is very bad. Don’t be fooled by her.Her eyes only money. A school is good, but it’s broken by this person. Be cautious. Don't go to find her

All girls school with smaller classes. The teachers and staff care about the students and seem to genuinely care about there job.

The school is wonderful. The people are great to work with, both teachers and students. Would be a great school for anyone looking for an IB program here in the region.

Elmwood, where I attended in middle school, is a fantastic example of how an all-girl environment benefits female students academically. The school activities-enriching, and the majority of the girls are quite inclusive. (The theatre at school is fantastic!) I advise new students to participate in as many different curricular activities as possible.

Elmwood School is one of the best prep schools in Canada with an incredible community and amazing staff.
