Heartfelt compassion. Though we mostly look to a vet to help provide the best quality of life for our beloved pets, there is also a sad reality that we also turn to a vet to assist with end of life. I was recently in this situation with my aging Sheppard/Lab X, Leila. The entire staff at Sears proved to be a godsend in helping me to accept and the situation and to make the best possible choices for both of us. The level of care and consideration was greater than what I had expected, and everyone we came into contact with went above and beyond to ensure Leila was treated with the utmost respect and care. Thank you.

Over the years I have experienced the full gamut with Sears - sickness, health, life, death. The kindness and care that the staff exude in every interaction is truly palpable - towards both pet and human. I have (briefly) taken pets to other practices in the past and the personal nature at which the vets and staff here operate is unparalleled. Whether it is a tech coming outside to administer vaccines to a fearful pup, finding time to see a sick cat last minute, or Dr. Bonnie asking about a family member who she may only have met a handful of times: it is clear that you and your pets are more than just a number on a file. Contrary to some other reviewers' experiences, staff have always been up-front about financials and I have never felt pressure to spend money on elective procedures or had any real surprises at invoice time.

I used this vet for years. Went from loving your animal to pumping out appointments and no real care for your pet. Customer service is quick to reply but cold and calculated. Business first… not what I’m looking for in a vet.

I don’t have enough words of gratitude for Sears animal Hospital. We recently lost our dog Boue in a tragic accident. He was hit by a car , managed to run with to Sears animal Hospital, they took him in right away and did everything possible to save him , unfortunately his injuries were to severe and nothing they could have done. Our experience was the most painful we have ever endured but they made everything possible to confront us and took care in the most caring way of this aftercare as well . He was our family member, in his short not even 5 years showed us what unconditional love means.Thank you for everything had done for us.Izabella and Norbert

We had our cat Sprinkle here a few months ago to be treated for her asthma, the entire staff was so kind and so helpful. We had quite the experience trying to get her treated at a different vet before this, wracking up a $1200 bill without answers, but Sears was able to give us all the answers we needed for a MUCH more reasonable price. They were very accommodating and so gentle with my fur baby.Overall a wonderful experience, very glad we found them!

I had the opportunity to take my senior cat to this veterinary clinic today, from the phone call with them this morning to the end of the visit, it was an amazing experience they are so friendly and super nice, every one of them who works here. Dr Petra was so kind and understanding, she examined JD my 18+ year kitty, she gave him laser therapy and pain medication, I would not hesitate to bring JD back here. It was such a positive visit. They fit him in within 2 hrs of calling them, overall a great experience for both JD and myself. Thank you all so much.Diane

I will start with the entrance to the veterinarian. I felt worse than doing a paperwork in government offices, the receptionists serve you as if they were bored or angry, the same when they make the charge. As for the veterinary technician who receives the pets, she is great, very kind and explains everything in detail, she treats your pet with love and respect. The vet did a general" check up for my dog which was really too superficial for me

Dr. Bonnie has been the veterinarian for my dogs for many years. She is knowledgeable, kind, compassionate and patient when I have many questions pertaining to treatment, solutions and followup care. The staff at Sears are truly wonderful; they care about my dogs and do their best to accommodate their appointment needs.Dr. Bonnie and/or her staff always followup to see how my pups are doing.Though both of my dogs were always excited to go to the clinic, Dr. Bonnie and her staff always try to make sure that it is a positive experience; providing treats and lots of loving to make them feel special. I know that my dogs are in good hands and receive the best care at Sears.

confused and frustrated. I brought my dog here on June 6th as an emergency drop off appointment. From the signs she was showing, I thought she had either a UTI or a bladder infection - so i wanted a urinalysis done. When they called me with an update after her exam, they said they recommended that they do blood work based on her symptoms and she had a fever and was dehydrated, they were concerned it was pancreatitis - so i gave them the go ahead for the blood work instead of the urinalysis. They have a lab on site, and the results came back indicating an infection. They asked if I wanted her blood work sent to another lab for a more accurate reading, and that it was an extra charge and I said yes. They sent her home with meds for pancreatitis and a $900 vet bill - which I wouldn’t have cared about the amount if what they provided actually fixed the issues my dog was having. After a few days of meds, she seemed to be feeling a bit better - until the end of June when she started showing signs that she wasn’t feeling well again. It’s now July 6th, she went to back to them today for a urinalysis because again, I felt it was some form of bladder infection. Her results from the urinalysis came back indicating it was a bladder infection. After another $300 - I’m hoping the problem is now fixed. I reached out twice for her blood results from the first visit and on June 13th they emailed me with the results from their in house lab. What’s concerning is they never reached out to me with her IDEXX lab results (that i paid extra for) - and on the print out I received today from her first visit, they got these results back on June 7th from the IDEXX lab - not sure why these weren’t sent on the 13th. The IDEXX lab results were much closer to normal. On the print out from their in house lab - written in pen - says “CBC machine error - ended up sending to IDEXX lab” nothing was communicated to me about there being an error with their in house lab machine. I find it convenient that after they got the IDEXX lab results back that there was a “CBC machine error”. They didn’t “end up” sending it to IDEXX lab, i PAID for it to be sent there. Seems a little suspicious to me, and left me feeling like I don’t fully trust this clinic.

Kind and compassionate. I've never had a pet fixed before but Sears did an outstanding job. They called me immediately once my cat was out of surgery and I really appreciated the consideration for calling me once she was out of surgery + the day after. My anxiety and stress around bringing my cats to the vet has lessened since that experience. Thank you for taking such good care of my fur babies!
