For the past year(ish) I have been taking weekly piano lessons with Nathan and am extremely happy with my progress. Though I have played various instruments in the past, and had a bit of experience with piano, I struggled learning new pieces (especially timing). Nathan helped break down the process in a practical way, which has helped me expand my repertoire and skills over the past year. Looking at new pieces/songs is no longer as daunting!I highly recommend Nathans Piano Studio to anyone new to music or those looking to expand their skills.

My son (age 11) has been taking piano lessons from Nathan for over 2 years. Nathan is able to tailor the lesson to what my son needs. For instance, for my son he doesn't use a standard piano book, instead provides his own songs, and sometimes he composes a song especially for him. My son also likes his method for teaching notes, with decks of cards that he specially makes.My son also finds the lessons fun, looks forward to going, and is motivated to practice on his own (though sometimes not quite as much as Nathan suggests).

I've been taking lessons with Nathan for over a year and as an adult I really enjoy working with him. Nathan is professional, he understands my goals and timelines, and has some creative ways to help me learn. I recommend taking lessons with Nathan.

Nathan's Piano Studio
Nathan has taught my son piano for the last two years and we have been super happy with him. Nathan makes piano lessons a lot of fun and is really willing to work with kids for whatever goals they have. My son really likes working with Nathan because he helps him learn music he loves to play. This really helps with getting the practice done at home. Nathan is also an amazing musician and really wants his students to do well and learn lots.

Nathan's Piano Studio
Nathan is wonderful and inspiring teacher. I started out knowing very little about the piano and music. I've always wanted to learn to play and in my short time learning from him, I've learnt how to read, play and interpret music for the piano, a big dream of mine. I still have much to learn but I have the confidence to develop my skills and grow as a pianist.
