Nasty old man cussed me out. I gave him 5 star anyway because each of us has a choice to do ones own tiny part to make the world a better place, meet nastiness with kindness and understanding. While this does not excuse a terrible experience at this place and I will not be going back, we must remember that we too will be an old man one day.

This is what happens when you want to support local. Moved to Ladysmith over a year ago and instead of going back to my reliable barber in Victoria, I thought it makes sense to support local and came for a walk in haircut. The guy seemed nice and we chatted a lot. Even though the place seemed to be undergoing “never ending” renovations, overall experience was positive. So I even left tips. But when I came home and my wife showed me what was going on on my head..!!! I had to drive to Victoria to get it fixed… never going back again.
