The prices are competitive" but overall higher than your typical big retailer. The advantage of this store is stock is usually always there and if not they get it fast. Staff knowledgeable and friendly."

Well, where to begin......We hired a contractor to replace our roof about 3 weeks ago He ordered all the materials from Consolidated Gypsum...west end location. We had to pay over $200 for delivery, which was to arrive on the Thursday morning around 10. Noon rolls around, and no delivery. He calls Consolidated......is told that it won't be delivered until the afternoon. Several hours roll by...still no truck. He calls again, asking to meet the truck so he can pick up the paper and staples, so he can at least get started on getting the paper on the roof. They laughed at him. Wow....what an unprofessional response!! He was told it will be delivered soon.Nearing the end of the day, my contractor calls yet again. Only this time, he is informed that our order has never even left the yard! It was still out in the back yard. OMG!!! Does anyone there know what's going on??So after some heated words, from both the contractor and Consolidated staff, we are assured that it will be delivered by the end of the day.FINALLY....around 6:30 pm.....we get the delivery. And of course, the driver just made excuses for the staff at the office. With delivery complete, off he goes.Contractor goes up on roof to finally get a start for the following day, only to find out that the staples and nails were not delivered!! He can't phone anyone.....office was closed hours ago.So first thing next day he calls Consolidated. The driver had it in the cab and didn't give us the rest of the goods.So, someone from the office was sent to our house, to deliver the staples and nails. Gets here, only to find out he only brought the nails. OMG!! Still no staples. We send him back to the office to bring the staples.So, after 3 phone calls, and 3 delivery attempts, we finally get the roof supplies. Seriously?? What Kind of business is this??An entire day was wasted waiting for them. This is a perfect example of job delay due to lack of delivery/supply....do not always assume it's the contractor's fault.When contractor talked to them about the issues, nobody would take responsibility. Clearly the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Do the different departments even communicate with each other?The customer service was absolutely horrendous!! Do they even care about the customer?I will NOT recommend this company to anyone, for any thing. Take your hard earned money to a business that cares about you, and takes pride in excellent customer service. Clearly, Consolidated Gypsum is NOT that kind of company.I am giving 1 star....ONLY because zero stars is not an option!!

These guys rewlly know their stuff. Alway super helpful every time I go there. Fast service, well stocked and willing to help. I prefer stopping here whenever possible to avoid some of the big box stores and all the traffic.

Purchased from them for a company and as a vendor they were great. Dealt with Ken, the few times there was a problem it was promptly dealt with and fixed. Great delivery, prices were competitive as I was purchasing for a fairly small company so price was an important factor. Would definitely recommend them to anyone. Reading the 1 star review below, things like that can happen, the multiple times is unfortunate and I can only hope that the person responsible was held accountable. That being said nothing like that happened to me in my experience.

If you ever go here to deliver a load with b-train and you unable to split trailers, they gonna write and note on BOL saying its not safeFirst of all when you even drop the trailer on road side its not safe either, secondly you are backing up from a road where semi's pass all day to their location where no one guides ypu or stop the traffic..THAT IS NOT EVEN SAFE EITHER.Thirdly when u finally backup to the spot, the truck is also hanging out on same road where semis pass very closely with no hazard cones or triangles placed on road. NOT SAFE EVENAnd for the trailers split I wasn't informed by dispatch even

Since they moved Hugh and Chris , service wasn't great . Now it's a lot better
