I requested a general labourer for a residential construction project. I was told that the labourer would be equipped with the appropriate safety gear. First day nobody showed up and I was called at the last minute to re-schedule. The person that finally showed had only a hard hat. No mask, no gloves and no hearing protection and wearing inappropriate clothing for a construction site. Not impressed at all.

I tried to help a friend who doesn't speak English translate for her so she could get her T4, but they told me she needs to go in person, I told them she was in the hospital and they said they didn't care, she has to go in person, then I asked to make a three-way call and they told me no, that it was only in person and they hung up the phone on me, try to call back several times but never answer the phone, I felt discriminated, what an immigrant-friendly company.
